I like how all rock/metal bands are connected somehow and one support each other. Pantera is one of my favorites of all time and seeing Portnoy using Vinnie (RIP) as an inspiration is super cool.
6 Degrees of Inner Turbulence is one of the best DT albums IMHO. I love specially The Test That Stumped Them All... which I learnt to play on drums (more or less) after lots of listenings. It's Really fun due to constant changes signature.
imo their best post labrie is fucked (lmao) era. Awake still remains untopped imo... if you think that album came out in 94 is just unbelievable. It's a pioneering album... those once in a lifetime thing you could never recreate no matter how hard you try.
