I have the Savage ultralite 110 308. I love my rifle. I will be getting the sister gun. Savage Ultralite 110 6.5 Creedmoor. You have a nice Leopold scope that you have.

Looks like a nice setup but I’m curious given it’s. a 6.5 creed moor and it has a carbon fiber barrel how does the barrel not blow up being that it is made out of carbon fiber?

There is a shop near me selling one of these brand new for 730 USD. It is insane that Savage is able to offer a rifle with a Proof carbon barrel for that kind of money... Im generally more of a Tikka guy, but at that price its hard not to give it a go.... Ive never had a Proof barrel that wasnt an excellent shooter, dont care how bad the action is...

Wait till they make this gun with an Impulse straight pull action. I'd camp out in front of the gun shop for one ...no problem!

What's with the recent obsession in 6.5, when you can get a 308? 308 is much cheaper and easier to find.

It's a deadly accurate rifle once you replace the stock with one from mdt. Carbon fiber barrels are very finicky and have alot of whip . With the factory stock i couldn't get this thing to group . Mdt has this baby shooting 2 inch groups at 500 yards no problem. Also my trigger was a lawsuit pending with savage from day one..with trigger adjusted on lighter setting it would go off while closing bolt . I fixed this messy sloppy adjustment as overtravel wasn't done right at savage factory . I own about 8 savage rifles and the quality of their latter guns are embarrassing. Shame on you savage.. you shouldn't be letting sloppy work like this out the door..someone could be killed ..especially with a trigger like that !!!!!!!

Really terrible rifle!! Only thing decent is the barrel, they are the worst built thing I’ve ever held in my hands, sent mine back unfired
