Circa 1992, Mike Rowe (host of Dirty Jobs) worked in (very) late-night TV selling crap to idiots on QVC. He used the opportunity to its full comedic potential.

OMG my mom bought one of these for our cats like 12 years ago. Basically, cats love plastic bags, but plastic bags can suffocate a cat. This product promises all the fun of a plastic bag, but your cat won't suffocate in it b/c it has air holes in the plastic. Our cats never played with this thing once

I KNEW I saw him as a host on QVC! It's not listed on IMDB, though, which is surprising. They usually catch just about everything, including if you did a five minute short with some friends, goofing around, and then eventually tell 15 people about it.

I remember Mike Rowe on QVC! As a matter of fact, I was one of those lucky callers who got to talk to him when I placed an order for some kind of contraption or doo-dad! Who knew back then that he would be hosting his own show where he deals with more REAL crap than he ever had to sell on QVC!!
This is the first time I think I've ever seen Mike Rowe on QVC. I did see some really short clips that were only a few seconds long, and I don't remember hearing him say anything in those clips (audio was removed), so those didn't count. My mom used to watch QVC a lot when she worked afternoons. She recognized Mike Rowe the first time I was at her house and wanted to watch Dirty Jobs 😂

OMG! That is Mike!!! The HAIR! I definitely like how he looks now. He looks better with age and rugged in jeans, T-shirt, and baseball cap. The monkey suit (definitely the tie) and the slicked back hair look so wrong on him here. Thanks for this. What a blast from the past. Thank goodness for 'Dirty Jobs'
My Miniature Dachshunds and cat would go berserk over that bag, and it'd drive me crazy in the process! Mike did a good job with what they gave him to promote. I LOVE him on Dirty Jobs! You're Awesome Mike!!!
