My dad played this through my childhood, I’m 22 and this song always bring so much happiness. I will play this to my future kids, and hopefully they’ll play it to their kids. Pure and raw talent, a special time for Irish music
I absolutely hate that I missed this show- this song was totally entertaining!! I'm praying that he ever puts on a show anywhere near South Carolina, hellfire couldn't stop me from going to see them!!!
I absolutely love these two. Both Mike and Steve are adorable personality wise and have a great sense of humour I can see why they are such good friends. and they are fantastic musically. And I love this song which I believe they both wrote together. I loved it when it was first released and I love it now. It's genius. Play that fiddle Steve. I never tire of hearing Steve on that fiddle on this song. Nobody can play it like him he is absolutely amazing. This song needs Steve and his fiddle. I said thevother day this song and Steve and his fiddle are like a pair of shoes you can't have one without the other. He makes the whole song come alive and you can tell he really enjoys it and that makes us enjoy it all the more. Mike has a great voice as well as being a great musician. There's a lot of feeling and emotion into his voice and you know its not fake he's genuinely feeling what he sings and its beautiful and raw like he sounds on The Peace Of Iona. Beautiful. Well done lads. I am so happy I came across this video and your live concert in Dublin. And Im so glad I stumbled upon Fishermans Blues again and hope I will be hearing it for a very long time to come. You don't get classics like this anymore. Mike and Steve set the bar and there's nobody that I've seen yet can top them. Much love to you both and your families and all the Waterboys. God bless and keep you all safe.
