Here are a few laps during an SCCA Regional at Thunderhill Raceway where we were testing a Superlite SLC for the 2013 25hr. This car is powered by an LS3 with a Porsche transaxle.
Also, I was driving the 95 SRF in the Enduro, and when you lapped me early in the race I was holding you up in the esses. It looked like you were a little frustrated when you went by, and all I can say is I'm sorry about that. This was my first SCCA Enduro, and I wasn't sure whether I should track out and let you by on the left or hold tight and let you by on the right. It was a rookie mistake, sorry about that.
I was flagging in Turn 15, and was relieved to see you finally get by the RX7. Though the RX7 has a sweeeter exhaust note, it was clear this was the faster car, and I wanted to see you take off.
I didn’t own it, and would never recommend one to anyone. The car itself is not bad, but you do not want to do business with Superlite cars, IMO. No guarantee all the parts will be there or when you will get replacement parts if you need them. If you want a mid-engine car with an LS, buy a C8 Corvette. Or if you want a prototype racecar, buy a retired LMP3.
@@MikeSkeenRacing thank you so much. I've been looking to build something with my boys but I don't want to deal with a company that doesn't stand FIRMLY behind their products. Especially when you're driving a potential death trap
Hey Mike, just random question about the car. Do you know the dimensions of the radiator? I'm thinking about building one myself and I want to install a radiator that can support a 700+hp LS7.
Nah, not really. I live in the Philippines and I'd have to work several lifetimes to afford the kind of money you need for a project like this.@@NationFirstGreenville22
