Hey I love the fact the Ignition starts at 4:27 into the video like a 427 cu in engine. You guys really made the best Cobra video I've ever seen online.
4:26 I've seen those six switches on Ikarus & Optare bus dashboards, even a few T8 Van Hool coaches I've driven. They actually don't look out of place in this
If you watch the whole episode - youll see that the tyres werent fitted ABSOLUTELY correctly. The dots on the sidewall of tyres indicates the heavy piont of the reunforcement section of the bead - and the tyre should ideally be fitted to the rim with the valve opposite the bead joint dot..
Nope. The dot on the tire should be lined up with the valve stem. That puts the heavy point of the tire on the lightest part of the rim, which allows less lead to be added to the rim for balance. Sometimes the wheels can be run with no lead, but if you take them in for balancing, the technician will throw lead on anyway. He won't want to tell you that you just paid for balancing, but no balancing was needed.
A if i was Stuart i want to chin him 2 MIke!!!! pipe down so i can hear that engine, i know you're excited, we all are. 4 Thanks Mike & Stu for solidifying what i already thought i wanted out of life ;D C Thing of beauty :O
Wow. A Chevy V8 in a Cobra replica? Maybe if that’s what you had laying around. I’m sure it’s fun to drive but that doesn’t excuse the transgression. I guess if I had the same setup I’d drive it like that on EVERY ERRAND. Wait, I have a Dodge Magnum and I do that anyway. Well. Not like that.
@@rockytalkndawoods3057 The most common engines put in these self built kits are Chevy small blocks, usually a 350. Same holds true for the 32 ford deuce
That's me. I chose to come down through here and see some of the comments, But, I didn't even watch any more Of the video once I saw it had a chevy engine in it.
The Chevy engines are much more available, much cheaper, parts are easier to get and it does a decent job of emulating a ford engine. If you care about originality you'd go for a ford, but if you care just about the experience, the Chevy engine makes the most financial sense
HMMMM WHY IS THE NUMBER PLATE DIFFERANT ON THE SOLD CAR ,,, DID YOU SELL THE NUMBER PLATE MIKE , IT WAS WORTH A BOMB ,,, ACC 809A AS OPPOSED TO THE NUMBER PLATE YOU SOLD THE CAR ON ON WHEELER DEALERS, ,,, NAUGHTY BOY ,, OR WAS THAT THE NEW NUMBER PLATE FROM THE DVLA?
