He has the mental strength to actually formally speak when he wants to. Intelligence doesn’t mean anything in the face of strength. The strength to convey thoughts, not the intelligence to
Tyson is actually like a real life kratos a story of being a ruthless complete warrior and to then becoming a wise old dude who can still whoop ass n pop that demon out if he needs to
I've actually never considered that comparison but you're kinda right. Both were destructive forces idolized and feared by the masses. Both made terrible mistakes and suffered regret and guilt and both have strived hard to reconcile their past and be better men. Damn.
Im-Batman first of all Joe Rogan is easily the realest person we've all ever seen. For shame, Batman. This is a warning, next time it's a demerit And finally kj - how about you generously shut the fuck up? No reason whatsoever to have made your comment. Dickhead
"The closer I get to the ring, the less confidence I get. The closer the less confidence I get. All during my training I haven't been afraid of this man. I didn't think this man would be capable of beating me. I never dreamed of him beating him... but I never was afraid of him. The closer I get to the ring, the less confident. Once I'm in the ring, I'm a fraud. He's gonna beat me".
@@Dave-vt2mt fr. I can’t even imagine what he was thinking. Trying to tell himself he can do it meanwhile dark clouds of self doubt rush through his mind. As soon as he heard Tyson’s entrance music I’m sure that cloud took over. He was done
Exactly it’s the art of humility and being humble, not afraid to lose and it boost your performance. Prideful people like mike was are scared and cowardly.
This speech helped me so much, I made poor choices and lost everything, I mean marriage and all. After that I was afraid of everything, everything is an obstacle to humiliate me, I'm scared to death to try and show my face anywhere. I always liked boxing after I got a heavy bag and started watching these video and came across this. I said man this iron Mike Tyson saying everything I feel. I said to myself time to come out of this dressing room, And get ready to face life and walk towards that ring because life is always gonna have a challenge, and that challenge is a test if character. Keep your head up my people!
Real recognize real 💯 I swear 🤬 if I seen a troll comment from a weak ass social media tough guy I'd went ham on their reply fr fr you do an say whatever you got to achieve your goals bro your not alone I. That kind of thinking that's coming from a guy that suffers tremendously from fear drivin anxiety 😬 but peeps like me and you are more similar to Iron Mike than the average f.b gangster bro god bless you 🙏
I'm in kind of similar shoes, after 20 years of heroin addiction I'm scared of everything and everybody. I am also considering to take up boxing as a sport. This video is indeed an inspiration.
@@urhunn7778 I encourage you, take up boxing, it's a metaphor to everything I struggled with from addiction to fixing my personal life. If you don't show up you get no results, they say boxing is the only sport you don't play, you can play ball, football, golf, basketball but you don't play boxing. It's like life. Don't play with your life, it's that hardest thing I've taken up is not to play with my life! the more I prepare the more confident I become. And you never know what you have till you face an opponent. You may surprise yourself!
@@srodybeats he didn't say "I am God" I'm sure he's okay with it. He doesn't seem to regret his past. He's said multiple times that the past is what made him who he is
I have had a couple of amateur fights and I have to push myself to walk to the ring. This guy was a fucking world champion, I can't imagine what it would have been like sitting in the dressing room and waiting for your turn
We are so blessed to still have Mike alive with us. I'm old enough that I was a teenager when Ali was everything. These gladiators are our warriors in real time. It makes me proud to be a human being.
A lot of times we find out that people who were very volatile when they were young had a lot of deep thoughts and powerful emotions coursing through them and they can sometimes express it beautifully in their older age when they are more free to be honest about themselves and their perception of the world. There are a lot of people like Mike Tyson that never make it to old age. I'm glad we still have Mike.
A lot of people just don’t realize how important of tools fear and being afraid are. Fear is your friend if you wanna get stronger and loss is your teacher.
I haven’t done this in the ring but as a sales closer for 8 different companies. Being number 1 within a few weeks. Jealous enemies all around. They hated picking up that phone. They were scared to ask for sales and get that credit card number. The closer I got to the office I got more confident. When I got on the phones the confidence was oozing out of me. I set records at 6-7 different companies. It’s a mindset guys
Same at my job we are a diff bread the more people doubt me the more I wanna prove them wrong which manifests me into a mufu dog/machine/monster they wish they never created god bless the strong willed never admits defeat
One time a store was being robbed and the old lady behind the counter beat the robber senseless with her purse. When asked how she was able to survive, her answer was priceless." I didn't whoop that man's ass, fear whooped that man's ass" 😆🤣 I thought of that quote while watching this short.
No .u must only know of tyson . Not even top 5 . And that's jus heavyweights .Mike's window was very very short . Ali . Foreman .lewis . Frazier. Norton . Shavers. Holyfield To name jus a few
@@MrRobm81 "Not even top 5" 💀 Ali himself said that Mike would dominate all old school fighters and he even has a chance of beating him but only if he was fast enough to catch him.
@@coca9397 I think he’s right though, definitely wouldn’t put Mike for top 5 greatest heavyweights. People like Foreman, Ali, Fury, Lewis, Holyfield, Holmes in his prime go before him.
Mike just broke down the exact thing that a man strives for. Not many men will getting experience this type of energy but it's really very deep. Mike articulated this perfect. There's so much more said then the actual words he spoke, amazing
Mike opponents : I m not afraid of him I m not gonna lose I ll win the more closer I get to the ring the more shit come out the more I come closer I lose more confidence when I reach ring I know I m dead 😂☠️
It is a true mastermind understanding of your mind, body and soul. Everything changes when the bell rings and you are 100% ready. You will be the beat boxer on aytomatic pilot. Thats how I won my Canadian championship in the 80s. I didnt have to think, breathe or punch. I was so ready my body and automatic mind took care of everything. When the final bell rang in the 3rd round. I felt like I didnt even have a booit and could go on ferever. When you really are prepared and ready you are u stopable. Im the same age as Mike Tyson and hope to spare with this legend some day. The two Mike's Tyson & The real Italian Stallion.
had this happen to me in a wrestling match I was afraid but as soon as it started my mind went blank I didnt have to think my body just did it I was perfectly moving him from one move to the other perfect counters quick pin before I knew it, it was over I didnt even believe it I didnt even know what moves I did I never had a single thought in the whole thing
I have a slight speech impediment. It comes and goes over nervousness and threat. It's good to hear him when he is calm upon his journey in life. With his pigeons that he has had the love his heart needed. I bet his voice was or still sweet with them. I got in fights over my stuttering. I found peace hiking in the woods ....where my mind slowed down. I love Mike.
