@@melvynsngltn27yeah by cheating his ass off holyfield is a pathetic disgusting cheater and he deserved getting his ear bitten off by Tyson holyfield is a proven PEDs abusing cheater and a shame to boxing
@@melvynsngltn27watch properly kid Tyson angry and bite Holyfield's ear because headbuts if Mike not bite This fight also Mike won Holyfield doing headbut and Mike disqualified
Everything about Tyson is explosive. Rope skip, shadow boxing. Punching a bag. All these things that i mentioned, other fighter do them slowly & softly. But mike does all with intensity
He should have Won Fight 2 with Holyfield . He was starting to land some Bombs on Holyfield , even after the Head butt that put gash over his Eye . I believe this was all preplanned by the Holyfield Camp . Head butt Tyson Constantly to slow him down or cut him , and thenTyson would become enraged and do something Crazy . Exactly what happened .
@@billsmith5433 Yeah , I heard about that as well . Holyfield used his Head like a Third fist . It didnt work as well on Taller fighters , but Tyson being 510 , it worked nicely . Tyson had to lunge to get off the Solid Hooks , which played right into Holyfields game plan. Mills Lane should have Disqualified Holyfield after the Third headbutt , which caused the Gash on Tyson's eye , sending him into a Rage .
Tyson should've taken a break from boxing after that first Holyfield fight. Regroup physically and mentally, take a couple of easy soft-touches to gather back some confidence, work on the technical aspects of boxing that were missing after prison. He basically became a one-punch homerun type boxer which was not going to help him against technical boxers like Holyfield who was active and fundamentally sound. Going directly into a second fight with Holyfield was a very bad idea. Don King likely pushed him into it because of all the money and hype it would generate. You can't beat Holyfield if you're just looking for 1 big punch. That's all Tyson was doing.
Yeah he was fucking up I can tell from the heavy bag he didn’t even move his head after the last punch like in Catskills n it’s funny because u can’t blame his trainer because he even said what the issues was but it’s all on Mike for no having a game plan because that 1-2 combo Mike basically spammed all through the 90s
If Tyson was 100% serious about giving himself the best chance possible of regaining the title, he would have gone back to Rooney & isolated himself in training non stop for 4/5 months. Rooney would have had him working off the jab. Moving his head after every combination he throws. And he would have had Tyson throwing combinations. More importantly than the above, Rooney would have been someone Mike could have talked to when he felt under pressure. From a boxing perspective, parting ways with Rooney was the worst boxing decision Tyson has made. He was never as great thereafter.
@@vijayvijay4123Rooney said remarks about Given which the press ate up forcing Mike to fire Rooney, unfortunately it didn’t workout since Tyson and Givens divorced anyway
What a great video , watching Tyson train is just unreal the power and speed of the man was insane, but I don't believe holyfield would of beaten Mike when he was with Kevin Rooney , Mike was a total different fighter his head movement was always there his footwork was different , Rooney knew Mike better than anyone the trainers he had out of prison weren't in Rooney's league , holyfield is a true true warrior and one of a kind , but he was off his tits on gear you can clearly see that
@@geirjohansen7375 no he wouldn't holyfield is a proven PEDs abusing cheater and a shame to boxing, he's a disgrace to the sport Tyson did justice to this pathetic disgusting cheater in the rematch and rightfully so holyfield deserved what he got
No Omar. This was not the best version of Mike Tyson. Not even close. The best version of Tyson was when he had Kevin Rooney as his trainer, training him properly.
After Tokyo, Mike should have re-hired Kevin Rooney. After prison, he DEFINITELY should've re-hired Rooney. But after getting KO'd by Evander, Mike was absolutely STUPID not to call Kevin Rooney. He had three chances to see the light and he never did. If he keeps Rooney from the start he goes undefeated, without a doubt.
I just wish the headbutts wouldnt have happened, Mike was in tremendous shape for this fight and he was getting to Holyfield in that third round until he snapped from getting headbutted, it wouldve been a great fight.
Tyson looked like he was going for one last ditch effort but Holyfield was way too composed. Tyson seemed like he had already planned to bite Holyfield when that third round began LOL
@@jollyjames30 Bullshit! Tyson relaxed on the third round and he w was hurting Holyfield and slipping punches. Holyfield was on trouble that s why he headbutted Mike the whole time.
Great montage. Training for Hollyfield II, Tyson was at his peak of scary with his post-jail body, tattoos, and terrible manners. He was a much better athlete 10 years prior but was more mediagenic, as a villain, during this period. I really like to watch Tyson clips from this time and have not seen most of the ones in this video, so thank you for doing that for me/us. It is REALLY sad that all this hype culminated in the most retarded heavyweight championship fight in all of history (with Lewis v. McCall II being a close 2nd only 6 months earlier).
They tried to teach Tyson rhythm: big mistake! If Tyson had fought "Peek-a-boo," it would have been a different story. You have to always stay in your lane. Tyson didn't choose "Peek-a-boo;" "Peek-a-boo" chose him: aka Cus D'Amato.
He wasn't winning it. He was down on the scorecards and he was making a final push before going for the bite. Tyson also used his head on other opponents. He headbutted Golota.
@@jollyjames30 a very ignorant comment. Every boxer when watching films, especially Tyson’s, look at the things he should have done. I agree that he is one of the best boxers, but no boxers are perfect, this allows for watchers to not repeat this mistake in their own fights.
U know it would have been nice for the trainer to try something different for Mike, the did the same thing that did not work out the first time. they just added more head movement. Tyson was smart, they should have focus more on defensive classical boxing for him to be able to take a breath after exchanges, geting out of there using the jab in and out.
10:38 Few people know this, but, this tire on the bag is specially for "Headbutts".He knew he couldn't beat this version of Mike (and he used dirty tricks already in the first round and Mills Lane was also Holyfield's friend and he was on his side) Mike was robbed.....I'm 70% sure this version of Tyson (1997) would have killed both Holyfield and Lennox even without Kevin Rooney.(in this fight, he returned the head movement)Mike was ready for war.He was just a cornered beast and it was the principle to take revenge on Holyfield and take the belts back. But God saved Holyfield again and he won by "disqualification" (I also remember when in the second fight Bowe - Holyfield landed a parachutist in the ring, there was a short break Holyfield rested and it helped him win that fight. God loves Holyfield )
@@SportVideosSvOfficial Same think my bro. I know for this tire, but everybody should to know for that!!! He was lucky because Mike was snaped... He is one of the dirtyest fighters i ever saw(Holyfield) This is championship fight...? I agree with you. Every word!
@@SportVideosSvOfficial tyson trained is ass off for the second fight went back to 218 lb shredded fast with richie giachettie he would’ve ko holy in the 4th fight or he could take him to distance
@@SportVideosSvOfficialplease can you tell me what kind of dirty tricks Holyfield used against Mike? First and second fight because while seeing them I can only note the headbutts
Evander Holyfield was more balance with his game plan and he expected the unexpected, But Mike Tyson didn't stick with the game plan and he expected the unexpected and to me Mike Tyson will always be my champion, win, loss, disqualified or draw as the youngest and maybe nobody in a 💯 years will achieve the impossible 😉 😀 👍 😜 😄 🤣.
If mike still had kevin rooney i think he would of won he didnt do terrible evander had a great chin in his prime tho idk if father time made it weaker at all he probably still has a good chin mike has a good one as well evander didnt ko mike the reff just stopped it in all fairness tho look at evanders camp in this footage he has all that resistance band stuff plus sqauts no wonder he was able to expode into hooks and bounce in and out and shoot them stiff jabs his camp was extensive on skill building
Because he was so explosive in his early 20s and KO'd everyone he was never a 12 round fighter, he only ever trained for 12 rounds before he went to jail and very rarely did he need to. He expected to win by KO. Great fighters knew to beat him you had to take him to deep waters and drown him
Hello everyone. Could someone tell me name of music. In 17.00 minute. Beginning of fight Tyson with Holyfield. I would happy if someone tell me the song . I was not able to find this music.
We will always wonder what would’ve happened if Tyson didn’t get cut from the headbutt. It would have probably been one of the best fights ever. I really think Tyson would have one and then there would’ve been a third fight just like Holyfield and Bowe
Don’t forget though different way from how Mike was robbed? Holyfield too was robbed of millions. This in today’s fight game unfortunately has a lot of influence on the boxers spirit. 70 percent of his power. 90 in the late champ Alis power. That’s why nobody ever put him to sleep in the ring . Unfortunately also Tyson never fully accessed his spiritual strength. He was so physically strong it blinded him from the true reserve.
Im a huge tyson fan, and maybe if he has his old team, tyson odds of winning would increase over 50%. Then again hollyfield was the perfect fighter for tyson to loose. Hollyfield had the power, high and stragedy. Eitherway Tyson is on the top 5 of the 90s Lennox lewis Hollyfield Ridickbow maybe Tyson
