@@Onlyhiphopbrendan It’s not that common at all. No suburban pet dog needs one. This guy looks to be camping or hunting and that’s why his dog. My property backs on to parkland with kangaroos and we walk straight past them but my dogs are always on a lead so i can keep them from running at the Roos. It’s often the dog that approaches a roo and then it will protect itself and it’s group. Especially the males as they are bigger.
It’s even funnier because wasn’t mike the guy who said “everybody has a plan till they get punched in the face” And that’s exactly what happened to that kangaroo the first time in its life

Well, to be fair, just about every animal in the world have lost to humans. We literally use them to serve us. No animal in the world enslaves other animals except humans lol And we kill them by thousands.

I read the guy that punched the kangaroo to protect his dog , died of cancer not too long after this video. That was his final walk with his best friend/dog.
the person that died of cancer is another person in the car, the person that punched the kangaroo was a zoo keeper helping the cancer patient fulfill his last wish

Nah that roo is SHOOK shook. Kangaroos use punches as warning shots, however their arms are small and weak, their legs are the power punch in this case. The guy hits the kangaroo and the roo is basically thinking "fuck if that was just the punch i dont wanna stay around for the kick" cause humans are hella good at punching

And even if you can good luck getting the best of it i consider myself an amazing defensive boxer with good knowledge spread through other arts and theres not much I can really think of to even really slow it down.
I heard somewhere that Kangaroos trip out when you punch them because they are used to fighting with their feet and their punches are weak. So when they get punched they trip out thinking how hard you must kick if you punch like that. so... as someone who has hunted pigs with dogs in Australia, the "thing" around the dogs neck is to protect it from the tusks of wild boars. Wild pigs can hit the arteries in a dogs chest with their tusks and kill a strong loyal dog in minutes if they do that. No pig hunter puts leathers on their dog to protect it from kangaroos lol.
The collar is known as a rip collar and it was designed primarily to protect a dog’s vulnerable neck and chest from being ripped by boar tusks, not kangaroo claws.

A few months ago I literally was fighting a kangaroo in a dam that was trying to drown my dog. I involved me being chest deep in the water, about a metre away and a few fist sized rocks. It was the most stressful 15 minutes of my life. Everyone survived.

Mike is genuinely a very good person. He used to live out here in Phoenix and I knew guys that ran into him and said he was great! Glad people are seeing the real Tyson since he retired from real boxing.
