In his prime ‘Iron Mike‘ was nothing short of absolutely terrifying. His dark aura and fearsome punching power made him into one of the most destructive forces in boxing history. The Brooklyn native rose through the ranks at an alarming rate. He eliminated every opponent in his path en route to becoming the youngest heavyweight world champion of all time at just 21 years of age. In this video we show you Mike Tyson's opponents before and after the fight.

@TheWorldofBoxing you have mixed up the Bruno fight and the footage. Bruno and Tyson fought twice but you have Bruno footage of him saying he came with the belt and he is leaving with it, which is from the second fight when he was the champ but you showed footage from the first fight when Tyson was the champ.

I was a kid in the 80s and I remember everyone was talking about Mike Tyson and how badass he was and I didn't know who he was and then Mike Tyson Punch Out came out on the Nintendo and I rented the game thinking this was what everyone was talking about. I spent the whole weekend playing and finally getting to Tyson and could never beat him. It wasn't until a few years later hangin at a friends house and his parents were watching a Tyson fight when I realized people weren't taking about the game but Tysons ring matches. I was around 10 at the time, my parents would never let me watch that stuff and it was awesome finally seeing this Mike Tyson fight.

Tyson’s defense was the springboard for his heavy punching style. People think he was a slugger, but nothing could be further from the truth. His opponents were so devastated by his boxing skills, the bouts typically ended in slugging fashion because there was no other choice. Everything Tyson did before he threw a punch made his tight physique act like a wound up coil, increasing the power of already devastating punches. Cus took one look at Tyson and knew he could turn him in to a monster. Nobody’s talking enough about his defense in the video or comments. If you’re interested, I’d look into how Cus trained Mike and what his philosophy was. It makes Tyson a more dynamic and tragic figure if you know the history.

Golota was a beast. He had everyting to be one of the GOATs, but the mind. In that infamous fight, he got hit very unlucky and had his jaw broken, yet he fought on. The decision to quit was the smartest decision anyone could make in those circumstances. He did not do it out of fear, but out of reason. Few more hard shots and he could be cold. He deserves respect for his skills and predispositions. Ofc he was not as great as Iron Mike, but the hate he recieved for that unruly judged escape from the ring is unfair. The worst part is that his corner made it look 100x worse than it should look like.

the cool thing about tyson is that he was a heavy weight and the dude moved like the fkn wind. he could be light one second, then half a second later, hes back to being made of steel and was landing those punches at unimaginable speed for his weight. he had speed and power that most his opponents just couldnt handle. and yea man, im sorry but train as much as you want on your defense. shit was probably like trying to dodge and block a sledge hammer. its not easy after feeling the power of his jab knowing any minute hes gonna hit you with a right and send ur ass to heaven.
