Here we look back to a night twenty years ago, where a brief moment of trash talk almost saw Mike Tyson almost fight a monster. 🎙 Narration Credit: www.fiverr.com/share/eNzrLr
100% true ! Sapp was just a big .. guy with mediocre skills , and a chin that folded when he was hit by much .. lesser punchers than Mike . Mike would have been a nightmare ! for him
Agree. Mike in his prime was unbeatable. When Kevin Rooney was his trainer. He only started loosing when he went with Don King And started partying while training.
SIGN THE CONTRATS BIG BOY. SIGN TJE CONTRATS !! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 John Fury is so funny. He want hardly to fight Mike Tyson 😂. He say" AM A FIGHTER! Am A MAChINE!! .Mike Tyson take it like a joke..😂
He didn't flinch as he knew Sapp was nothing inside . Just a huge guy that crumbled every time it got rough and he got hit . The guy wasn't even as good as many fighters Mike had beaten .
Could you imagine going back to the 80's, 90's, and 2000's, and tell people that in the future the world will get so crazy that Mike Tyson will become a voice of reason. 😅
It’s a joke, Bob Sapp is a slow lumbering wrestler. He wouldn’t stand a chance. Just watching him out of breath and carrying all that bulk says he would be fatigued in no time. Sapp wants a pay day and that’s it.
After Mike was out of his prime everybody came out of the wood work to challenge him, where were they when he was beating every one during his prime. NUFF SAID!!
@@sith6375 Yep! But even if they WERE around back then, Mike would've still knocked 'em out just all the rest. Today's fighters are BUMS compared to the former great champs and legends of the past. They no longer fight the same, train the same, nor do they even live the same kinda rough-ass lifestyle just like how Mike did back then. Mike is a hardcore survivor survivor of the streets, and NOBODY could dispute that fact. Back then in the '80s when Mike was still in his prime, he was fully capable of beating ANY heavyweight champ from ANY era. There will NEVER be another monster or beast quite like Iron Mike Tyson, and he has all the creds to prove it!
@@sellihoozhun well even in a real fight you'd have to be able to get to him fast enough, a young mike would've hit him 100 times before he even knew what happened
I was going to say he's the biggest b*tch I've ever seen. The dude absolutely is huge but as soon as he ate one punch he was on the ground covering up like a girl
I don't think most people don't understand what mike Tyson was like, he was dropping the biggest and best names in boxing history, absolutely amazing !
If that airplane incident involving Mike goin' to work on that fool in recent years makes any statement at a ll, then Jake 'Assclown' Paul is gonna be in some SERIOUS TROUBLE!!! 😲
Tyson... his opponents knew that the steady stare meant trouble but when he smiled... that meant terror for his opponent. Mike Tyson fought with all the heavy punchers of the day... and they all fell to Mike's super power.
@@user-yo1bz9mg3n They BOTH have lost to a buncha BUMS too... A lifetime record of 50 wins and 6 losses is actually PRETTY GOOD, and nobody ever said you had to be PERFECT. Even Wilder and Joshua have each lost at least 3 times, so what exactly are you trying to say here? 🤔
Sapp was a massive steroid freak, that is all. His combined fight record of 24-39-1 shows that steroids do not automatically make you into a fighter. Mike would have smashed him to bits.
Nah, In Sapp's early K1 and MMA days he WAS a monster. Until people realized he didn't like getting punched in the face. So they just started punching him in the face. This is a true story.
I grew up watching Tyson, he is 10 years older than me. Some of best fights the word has seen included Mike. Sad to see him at 57 trying to earn a living, when he should have $200 million to live off. What a story and a fighter! He is a legend.
No matter who's the boxing heavyweight champion of the world, and if they hold all the belts. Mike Tyson will be the one and only "baddest man on the planet"
@@generalkayoss7347 I wouldn’t mess with him either way 😁 I saw one interview, he said, he’s getting paid anyway, why risk injury. I think he’s smarter than we think 🤔
Holyfield and lenoxx are Tyson's nightmare. Mike Tyson felt holyfield punches plus his his stronger that's why he bit him in the ear .. lenoxx use technic to beat Tyson.
Fuckin Lennox. Do you know how cold you gotta be to be like"yup imma go knock him out. Right here right now" and the guy youre talking about is Mike fuckin Tyson? And then do it? Sheeeesh
@@okeynwachie YEARGH!!! 😡 A prime Tyson would've easily DESTROYED a prime Lennox if it was back in the '80s, just like how he had beaten every other bum back in those days... Even Lennox himself admits that shit. To be fair tho, I know that Lennox is a bit older than Mike. He does have the HUGE size factor and some pretty decent boxing skills tho. But by 2002, Mike was already like way past his prime and dealin' with all kindsa drug addiction and financial problems. He was definitely NOT the same kinda fighter that he was way back in 1988. Plus, he didn't really have the best people in his corner to help train him either. Cus and Rooney had already left him at least 2 decades prior. Mike still had plenty of speed and power, but his skills and tactics were long gone already. Lennox had always DUCKED him during his prime years, and then he WAITED for Mike to get old and fall outta shape before fighting him... That dirty-ass lowlife sonofabitch! 👎
@@thefishhobbyist5478 they appeared to be average because Mike put them to sleep. He became the youngest heavyweight champion at the age of 20 so obviously nobody was better than him. He also became the first boxer to hold all three major belts. No list needed!
Many overlook a key fact about Mike Tyson's career: despite being shorter with a shorter reach in every heavyweight bout, he wielded significant advantages in boxing against all odds. Typically, height and reach favor the taller and longer fighter, granting them the ability to control the fight with jabs and maintain distance. Yet, Tyson defied these odds, consistently maneuvering inside longer reaches to dictate the pace and control of his fights. This feat parallels a point guard consistently posting up and dominating power forwards and centers in the paint all game long, a feat that's typically challenging but appeared effortless for Tyson. This little talked about fact only enhanced his greatness
@@rosemarietolentino3218 - Not against Ernesto Hoost, I heard that Sapp started throwing his fights because he had to pay for his own medical bills. But if you haven't already watch Sapp vs Hoost (both of them), Sapps power made him very dangerous!
Tysons answer was so simple and so honest. They have no chance, and they want to watch him fight.I saw all his fights live growing up,he really did punish people.
@@elihathaway6784 nope Hoost was ill and sapp made one foul after another , so no sapp was not a real fighter , Tyson would have KO'ed him in the first round easily ....................
right lol who in their right mind put this together like some groundbreaking matchup documentary or some shit. "bob sapp is not a real fighter" "steroids do not replace training" theres your documentary 😂🤦
Holy shit Sapp’s laugh at 4:31 that’s one of the most evil villain type laughs I’ve ever heard he should voice a marvel villain or some shit haha but Mike would’ve pieced him up in under 1 minute… sapp had no chance he doesn’t like getting him Tyson would’ve knocked his dome off
I’m sorry to say but Sapp would have been the starter before the main meal. Tyson was just way too good . Sapp was a big bloke with a big punch but Tyson was on a completely different level. He just smiled when Sapp ran towards him. 🤣🤣👍👍
i remember i was so excited to see it. its probably be one of top the biggest pay per view. although, mike have it in the bag. bob once tired hes already lost. mike have so much stamina than bob. bob is strong but his punch is kind of like flaring and not a jab or a swing. also hes nbot strong enough to take mike down that easily. i would suspect mike would defend more in the first round and win 2 or 3 round.
I have never heard of Monster Sapp. Mike Tyson was put the fear of God into his opponents! The Michael Spinks fight said it all, very simple! The only Champion Boxer, who admitted he had fear before a big fight, mostly for a few hours, leading up to his fight. He said, “if you don’t have fear, there’s something wrong with you!” He used his fear as a weapon, turning it into a killer instinct! I’ve always rooted for Mike Tyson, especially during his very dark times!
Michael 'Stinks' was so goddamn scared and terrified of Tyson, that he literally SHIT his own motherfuckin' pants while he was on the way walking out to the ring from his locker room that night when he faced him! 😳 Like HUGE slimy wet turds; running outta his trunks, and all the way down into his socks/shoes. That shit just REEKED of undigested salmon, shrimp, eggs, milk, potatoes, and beans. 😝 Rumor has it, that they could even smell that shit all the way in CAIRO... 'Nuff said! 💩
Mike doesn't ever claim to be the GOAT, cuz he still has MASSIVE respect for Ali as his #1 favorite idol... And either George Foreman or Larry Holmes would prolly qualify for #2. I would say that Mike is at least close to being at around the #3 spot, right up there with other great awesome legendary champs who also fought in very similar style and fashion as him; such as like Jack Dempsey, Rocky Marciano, Floyd Patterson, and Joe Frazier! 🥊
We I was younger I was amazed with Mike's boxing skill, the media's made him look like a thug, then he bit an ear off. But now, I see a much different side to Mike. I'm impressed now.
Mike said he wouldn't do it because of head kicks. Sapp could never head kick anyone unless they were on the ground. The real problem was Mike could not get into Japan with his record.
Hippos would be jumpin' over tall buildings by the time Bob could actually bust a head kick... Are ya shure it wasn't the managers and promoters who didn't sanction this fight?
Mike Tyson, hands down pound for pound. Mike still holds the record on fastest 4 punch combination. 4 punches in less than a split second. Fastest knockout in a championship match. His peek a boo head speed is almost untouchable. Then there is that unstoppable uppercut followed by the right cross.. The bout is over .
@@DonMIFC I'm aware of his history. But when he left the UFC. And was paid to take falls for the Japanese audience he lost all credibility. fighter or not. His build does NOT help in Queensbury rules against Tyson.
He sold the MOST boxing match tickets and pay-per-view fights in the world... He is arguably one of the BEST sports celebrities ever, and NOBODY could ever dispute that shit!

@@vegetaking1272 To be honest and fair tho, I think I would give Bob like 90 seconds TOPS... He is alot bigger and tougher than Marvis Frazier, and much less of a crybaby than Michael Stinks. Neither of those wimps could ever beat Bob, if he has his SHIT together. He would prolly just knock 'em both out with his bad breath, smelly armpits, and chilli-dog farts. I don't think Bob could ever beat Mike, but he would still prolly make a pretty good 'heavy bag' or sparring partner for Mike to train with! 😁
To be fair most males are taller than mike tyson. I'd have him in the 3rd round, and that's because I'd miss the first 2 rounds shaking from holding the gun at mike tyson.
It's weird, Mike Tyson is my height. Actually I'm probably a tiny bit taller at 5'11, but he was always a natural heavyweight. It seems I'm about average height amongst my coworkers, but a few of them are like 6'4 and up. It's weird that I picture fighting them in my head to get an idea of Tyson's height disadvantage lol.
Sapp is to slow and Mike is to fast. Mikes head movements would of been no match for sapps swings. Mikes feet work, body and head movements, aggression and stamina would of easily destroyed sapp.
Mike has said it, he does NOT have the killer instint. What is that? Mike said I do not want to be that person anymore. So yeah, Mike was (and is) the fiercest boxer, but he chooses not to be anymore.
@@generalkayoss7347 yeah he beat him but not with skills , he's just too big and strong.. if u see that as "skills" then i have bad news for you my guy..
That monster better have fallen on Mike and not let him get up or he would be dropped real fast 😅 .He could not block those head shots his brain does not move that fast.😂
