I don't get it. I've seen the movies but I don't get it.

It's possible for both parties of an argument to be wrong. A good leader motivates his team. Magnus allowed his subordinate to abandon the mission.

By being someone he can admire and therefore work beside. Young'n, this robot is a strong soldier, but a weak leader. He cannot listen to critique and accommodate for the sake of his team. That's why he is the second in command.

@@pdelta Yeah, Magnus does need to lighten up, but the other Autobots show him respect regardless, so he must have done something right during the war on Cybertron. If he is second in command he must be for a reason. Wheeljack just disrespects authority for questioning his actions and rushing into situations headfirst without taking others safety in consideration(bring Miko along for example, the only reason that went well was cause of Miko quick thinking and Starscreams stupidity) and left again when thing reached a breaking point with Magnus instead of acknowledging his own actions and trying to change.
