Miko Companion Robot Review | Miko 3 & Miko Mini 

After watching this video on the Miko 3, I feel it's important to share my personal experience with Miko products. Despite the impressive technology and potential shown in the video, my journey with Miko has been less than satisfactory. I've encountered numerous issues, including delayed deliveries and poor communication, which significantly impacted my overall experience. It's crucial for potential buyers to consider not just the product's capabilities, but also the manufacturer's reliability and customer service. While the Miko 3 appears promising, my past experiences with Miko prompt me to advise caution to anyone considering their products.

Just purchased Miko mini. It’s slow but informative and interesting for the kiddos. It tells stories and the math and science and ocean exploration is good. Slight delay in answering questions but it’s better than the kids looking at iPads and phones. It’s not exactly C-3PO. 😂😂😂

To stop an action just press the on/off button for one time and he'll stop (you'll see face/home screen). Recently Miko Mini got a massive update and works better then one month ago. Still not perfect as Miko 3 and you can't do many games with it, but for 99$ (current price) it's still a good companion robot. I think it's wrong to compare a robot to a tablet because Miko is not a tablet and a tablet does not respond to commands (unless you have ChatGPT or Siri, but they aren't for kids). Miko combines robotics with learning. The certain thing is that in the case of Miko Mini, there are still a lot of apps and games missing and the robot is certainly not "complete", but the price is really excellent for what it offers and the way it answers questions.

Miko mini is the one with real AI. All other mikos are based on pre gpt technology. I think miko mini would already be much much better than others and also what's shown in the video.

We had high hopes for the Miko3. Returned both of them in a week +/-. Its nothing more than a phone screen on wheels. They charge an annual fee to access apps that are free on any other device. Even the functionality was spotty at best, not always responding to the kids. Or ours. Voices.

Seems to have the general gpt ai trait of telling mis truths with confidence. We asked how tall a giraffe was and it stated it was like having a tall basketball player in your backyard. It did mention 4.8 to 5.5 meters tall i don't know any 16 to 18 meter basketball players. While the fact was correct for a young child this comparison makes them seem almost a third of their height. Which seems like the most important part. Kids don't know what 4.8 meters are but they can imagine a tall person pretty easy -edited on mobile fixed some errors in typing

I guess they pay you for a positive review. As so many stated and expressed their dissatisfaction I can clearly say this is a piece of junk. An old Android core system with cheap underperforming hardware. And pretty bad programming too. After 1 week it is defunct and stuck in a boot loop. No way to get it back, no matter which key combos as in Android tablets. Whilst it worked I see it was more geared to maybe a 4 to 5 year old. Certainly not for a +8 year old. Speaker quality is bad, camera extremely low resolution, it's moves are very basic, the plastic molding I consider on the very cheap side and is also squeaky. That is for Miko 3. Also as there are no venting holes it gets quite hot around the head section. Over clocked CPU board to squeeze some performance out of an already underperforming main board. A cheap no name Android tablet is more reliable than this piece of glorified and over-hyped plastic. When runs also an insult to my kids intelligence. Having design & manufacturing shop floor experience I see where this comes from. Indian low key engineering, but lots of hype and doctored YT videos to fuel interest. Luckily we did not pay for it and got it from our U.S. relatives as present for our child. They offered another one. My response was swift and clear. A big no. Better get a decent tablet or iPad. Your kid will have it way longer.

You need to be careful because when you don’t need to break in that fence, maybe money.❤ but I have Miko I have one of them I have already one is not the other one that you say I tired that is the one that him or a boy girl maybe it’s a boy you say Miko and he say huh like that

Never get the Miko Mini because it is slow and doesn't have a lot of games or features

This thing is junk. My son got it for Christmas, but other than playing music, it isn't good for anything else. It absolutely doesn't make since and can't do anything is claims. It made me put a card on file just to turn it on. Don't waste your money. It's just an expensive kids' radio on wheels.. not the educational toy it claims to be.

I stubbed upon this channel while I was researching mirror writing.. I usually don’t rely on RU-vid for factual information.. as there a fantastic place called a library in my town. I seriously thought this channel was some sort of a joke.. I don’t know what planet these people are from.. but they are speaking a different language.. I’m not some old person who isn’t “with it” .. I’m in my 30s. Tablets? Apps? Companion robots? I embarrassed for you guys! I can with 100% certainty tell you that you need to stop! I did this thing when I was growing up.. I went outside and played with other kids. I didn’t have a tablet or phone.. I did what normal kids do and I learned from socializing and experiencing the world without a screen. Please stop
