Looking fun to watch now. What a dp by Winn,Gorman!. Gorman just take it up the middle or left ..pull the inside pitch.. Arenado to serious.. just have fun man..don't put the team on your shoulders it's a team effort. See a lot of smiles now..like the nucleous..need a number 1 or 2 starter to compete short series PO? with LA or Phillies.Miles looks good ..just location makes a difference. Tough decisions when Tommy comes back.. who goes? Will he hit? How's the wrist. Thanks JD with the coverage.👍⚾️🏆

M.O. on Goldy and Arenado, their best days are 95% behind them and of the 5% remaining, is going to be mostly defensive gems. Their days of being the sole source of offense are going to be very seldom at their age. It's a really hard place to be with Goldy because he's so good at 1st. He's still 3rd best at 1st base at his age. Arenado makes entirely too much money accompanying such decline. If a contract restructuring can be applied to Nolan, not lowering his Contract net worth , but adding some years then maybe it wouldn't hurt so much. Or possible deferment as in Ohtani's deal. It's hard to criticize Mozeliak for his inability to see into a player's future as in decline. But age should always factor in, and I criticize him for not factoring that into Nolan's deal.

I'm always afraid when they are playing good that will keep them from trading aggressively for what we need most. Does Siani being so good make you consider trading un-tradable players? Does Walker, Scott, Edman, and others become valuable pieces to get a real stud starter, shut down reliever or major bat? What will it take to get Scherzer and Yates or Rooker/ Miller or Crochet/ Fedde. If we don't commit to going for it this year, you might as well trade Goldschmidt to a Contender like the Yankees, who need a first baseman. Goldschmidt is due to come around. Goldschmidt plus someone for Clayton Beeter?

First goldsmith plays everyday . the young guys set out hurt so much . He’s absolutely a great defense first baseman. He will top thirty homers , around seventy or eighty runs batted in.this years end And please understand who’s batting in front or back of goldy it makes them a much better hitter .

If I am a pitcher, I want Siani in cf. He has speed, can bunt, and is a threat on base. Defense wins games. I think if he plays everyday, his hitting will improve.

I agree with the All Star selections. I don’t see anyone else worthy. Winn is good but not there yet. To be honest I’m no fan of any All Star games in any leagues. They should give them award & give teams the week off. I don’t like non competitive games or watching the HR Derby.

Aww c'mon, a series win deserves the Loud Old Guy Shirt! 😁 I love both 'Nado and Goldy and have no issues with keeping them in the lineup, but batting Goldy in clean up??? 'Nado in 5th??? COME ON OLI! Order them according to how they are hitting, please! 'Nado should be batting 3rd, since no one is ever gonna pitch him inside again, and Goldy needs to be batting 6th! Contreras is looking like he's back, he should be batting clean up, and Donnie is just doing Donnie things, needs to be batting 5th! 'Nado and Goldy are both professionals, they want to do what's best for the team. Let's not play to past glories, please, but to the present day reality!

What happens with Herrera when he comes back? Noot, Edman, Herrera all coming back at same time. Fermin sent down for Noot. Pages would get sent down but I think he’s done a pretty good job as the backup. Last would either be Crawford or Carlson I don’t think there is anyway they don’t continue to use Siani out in center. Maybe a trade of Herrera and Carlson for a pitcher? Not sure how much value Carlson has anymore.

Carlson’s value is the two years’ control and a RH bat on a lefty dominant hitting lineup. He needs to stay healthy and get regular playing time. I hope he does well wherever he goes

I do not trust them come playoff time. Not offensively ! No way ! However, at the corner infield spots defensively, I do. They should be 7 & 8 hitters or 8 & 9. Until the manager grows a set and puts them at the bottom of the line up , they're failures will progress.

I believe if they get Hagen Smith in the draft.. the future looks bright… move on from Herrera Carlson Gio and throw in Roby since rangers like him and get Scherzer and Kirby Yates.. go all in for Goldie last season and see if the strike magic

If the Cards wanted to show they were serious they would be phasing Goldy out already for Burly/Wilson. If they manage to sneak into the playoffs and Goldy is still starting, and he sucks like he always does, that's just another item to add to Mo's long list of player mismanagement.

I don’t agree getting a half year players giving up young talent. If you make a trade get at least a player with three years contract. Or no trading do not trade our veterans . oh hell no we got goldy till the end of this season and please sign him to a two year with a third year option. We have the best fielding third base . We as a team in St. Louis need players who wants and love playing hear most.players don’t want to play hear in the boring Midwest. Don't forget Victor Scott!!! That makes Siani the 8th outfielder!!! SIANI IS A BALLER!!! Nado and Goldy??? Goldy is a rally killer and an easy out. Nado, "Twitchy"??? Not as easy an out as Goldy but still both of them are good trade material. Neither Arizona nor Colorado ever won a Series with them and neither will the Cardinals. Burly on first with Noot back in right. And Donavon could be a premier 3rd basemen!!! Siani stays in center with Edmond to 2nd. And if we have to keep coddling Gorman, make him the DH. And the fact that they are going to be in the line up no matter what is a load of bull-sh** that should get Oli and Mo fired immediately!!!
