I have discovered a few really talented sax players lately. Miku-san is right up there with them. Passionate and muscular (is that a weird word to use?). And she's surrounded herself with a really talented band. Thanks!
I've seen Miku maybe a dozen times and the only constant is guitarist Ogawa. Everyone else changes for every gig. Yes, Tokyo jazz musicians are good enough to do that. Notice that they all are reading sheet music. I bet they don't rehearse. Maybe they run through the tricky parts before the show. Who else you got on sax please?
@@FrisbieinsteinCheck out the Jazz Avengers…Miku on tenor, Ami Nakasano, WaKana, Miho Terachi, Chizuru Sagawa on Guitar, Senri Drums…keys Marie Takeda, Juna Serita on bass. All super talented.
I don’t think it’s the sound of the snare that concerns you so much - I think your main concern is to show off the superior knowledge that you imagine yourself to have. Show us the gigs you’ve played at, or done sound reinforcement at - if you have any credibility in this matter. Or at least you could learn how to spell “tuning” if it’s really that important to you.
