my corona challenge for myself is to *finally* finish learning this dance after 11 years (UPDATE! SURGERY: Just editing so people don't need to keep asking lol, but I got the surgery, went through (total) 8 months of physical therapy, have most movement back in my shoulder and am mostly off the cane! Sad part is I'm now being evaluated for fibromyalgia as a result of the wreck, but I haven't given up hope that I'll one day get to finish this!)
Saaaame😂😭 I cringe but it's still a happy memory. Things were so much simpler for me🤦🏾♀️😂 Now that I come back to it years later, I still remember a good 95% of it😭
Ahhh the memories this brings back! I strangely want to go back to my 'weeaboo' phase because anime and vocaloid was all new and exiting....now its just normal tbh
The year is 2021, and somehow I still remember every single move to this dance despite learning it when I was like 14. How come I can remember entire MMD dances but never the answers to quizzes/exams??!?!??
I learned this dance in middle school. I'm 20 now and gaining weight with my slowed down metabolism. I struggle exercising, so instead of jumping jacks or going for a run, I do this dance a couple of times. This definitely counts as cardio in my book, and it even has a short break interval in the middle of the dance. Miku is everything, man.
Reminds me of when I FIRST got into Vocaloid and I had NO IDEA what it was bc I was like 9 I was like "It's a cute animu girl and the voice is 100% synthesized no humans!!1" and then I grew out of anime and back into it and then I was 12 like "Oh THAT'S what a Vocaloid really is."
I've got to say, whoever did this must be really good with mmd. The anamation is amazing. From the hair and skirt moving naturally, to forming the heart with the fingers, to shaking the wrists, this is outrageous!
12 years later as a first year in college this will always have me remember how much fun i had watching stuff like this in elementary and still today :)
I heard this song on tik tok and the memories flooded in because omg, I remember being fourteen and hard out dancing to this whenever I got the chance, this actually brought me so much happiness back then wow
Oh my god. I haven't heard this song let alone danced to it in what feels like a decade and yet my first time revisiting it I realized that the choreography has been permanently seared into my muscle memory. I kind of lowkey scared myself with how much I still remembered (not 100%, mind you, but Pretty Darned Close). It's moments like this where I'm forced to come to terms with how much of an impact that Vocaloid/MMD had on my adolescent/teenage life.
I remember being obssesed with bad apple and for some reason this video popped up in the recommended and my first ever vocaloid song was actually butterfly on your right shoulder... This and butterfly has a special place in my heart :)
I learned this dance a couple years ago, and I didnt do it for like over a year, yet it stuck in my head almost perfectly, unlike a lot of other dances I learned! So now I do it at least once a week since its such good exercise! XD
I miss this time when I was starting to get into vocaloid it was the best time for me and seeing so many crazy stuff weird enough I had a miku phase X'D instead of an anime one
Time flies by so fast this is so scary. All the Memories wich come with this song. This was the best Time of my life watching Anime, going to small Conventions, all of my friends was into Anime and cosplay, discovering Immermannstraße in Düsseldorf and of course Playstation Home 😍 I was so happy to be alive at this time. Things and People have changed so much today, so let me go back in my Memories only for this 4:27 Minutes
