You might want to pop out the needle jet as well. They are tapped out - after removing the main jet and the washer, by slightly knocking at the main jet end, and the jet can be pulled out through the throttle valve bore. It needs to be done, to ensure the small holes on the side of the jets are completely open and clean. I use a hard plastic rod as a drift to knock them loose. If You can find new cheap ones, just replace them, as the seats tend to wear in an oval pattern - causing the air/fuel ratio to be too rich, at all throttle positions. Thanks for sharing this, and good luck on the rebuild! 🤩👍

Just be sure the jets are oriented the correct way around, when reassembling them. There's a tab at the bottom end which fits into a key opening on the jet.

Emulsion tubes to remove, the main jet screws into them. 4 washers and 4 rubber o rings to remove, these will be stuck in the mixture Screw tubes, the ones you took out with the springs on. 4 rubber plugs to remove right beside where the main jets where, that gives access to the pilot jets for removal.

You have forgotten your primary jet and main jet wear The needle slides up and down plus there’s two Spring 2 little ballbearings for your chalk that still left in the cabinet as you will lose them in your ultrasonic cleaner

Thanks John, appreciate your comment, a few of the original jets are missing but will be in the kit when i rebuild them, as for the small ball bearing nothing came out and they were not in the cleaner when i cleaned it out, i have seen them on the fiche picture but not in the carbs

I think the GT550 had TK carbs through 1987, then Keihins from then, and on.
