It has a pop/indie vibe to it, while also maintaining that psychedelic feel, and then the sax solo comes, it’s almost a funk and swing jazz mix, it’s amazing, and those synths and guitar, everything in this song gives the MHC touch that every fan knows
Dude this is honestly the most psychedelic music I’ve listened to honestly. Like the combination of genres pared with the visuals it just gives this transcendent vibe.
This song has made me cry a few times once it hit me that it's an allegory for existence and by extension a metaphor for the belief that despite our struggles in life our energy can transcend earth into a vast and unknown cosmic plane.

I loved the band the moment I discovered their album “Skiptracing” yet on their last album “Going Going Gone” they offer an even richer music! So rich that with the amount of content they present in just one of their songs many musicians may barely dig out a whole album! Bravo and thank you!🖖

I can't take how good this is. Heard this in a coffee house and had to Shazam it. I can't believe this dropped recently. This is a combination of so much that is good and seldom produced nowadays, doobie bounce, Dan-esque sax and piano, early 80s synth jazz and beautiful harmonies.
