My step-daughter suggested this audio blessing to me, and I love it so much. It is like a mental trip to the ocean. Sitting watching the sunset behind the ebb and flow of the tide. I am so thankful for this. I am so thankful for her.
@@kebobarmageddov2110 not surprising as anything actually that changes the sound will be 10 yrs old before it’s realized…look at Nick Drake, Jeff Buckley Elliott Smith etc
I know how you feel, had a bad time with my parents when we all took MDMA, it was just too emotional for me, so I left and the guy I bought it from picked mw up and brought me home, and on the ride back this album was playing and I fell in love, it made everything ok.
@@jondishmonmusicandstuff2753 he means that mild high club is hardly known and deserves to be high up in the ranks of making music, I mean they do only have 100k subs not many

RU-vid randomly suggested this to me and I'm absolutely in love :o clearly all the algorithm is ridiculously good to know that I'd see this, click it, and enjoy it. Great stuff! Just heard the second song and was thinking "mmm nice ii V i" and then you sang those words!
I just saw this band at 2022 at Desert Daze music fest in California... and they blew my mind. There music is magical when you see it live. I'm not joking they blew my mind. It's so hard to describe their sound other than magical. please make more music!
SkipTracing Can you see to this harmony? Can you let a quarter set you free? This tonality, doesn't disagree Ought to be chromatically pleasin' me All that I want is some good loving musical thoughts I got to see, learn this history Pull another record from your sleeve A mystery, if you don't believe Slip another coin in my machine (Baby, you're my kind) All that I want (All I wanna, hear the drum ah) Is some good listening musical pop (And Madonna, and marijuana) The gift keeps giving Use what you've got (Shake it mama, upset your karma) Not what you're missing All that I want (All I wanna, hear the drum ah) Is some good listening musical pop (And Madonna, and marijuana) The gift keeps giving Use what you've got (Shake it mama, upset your karma) Not what you're missing
I always manage to lose the name of this record for one reason or another but I never forget the swell and vocals at 4:40 so every time I go looking for this, I always land on Temporex first because that one snippet reminds me of their music. End rant.
Every track on this album makes me feel so different and so happy, this album perfectly describes my favorite type of music and i can’t believe i love the whole album
@@gracesss1272 yes, very much so i appreciate all of my situations but these times were really quite special to me. things were new i was surrounded by truly great and enlightened minds carefree days with friends, having fun free to live 2 different lives 2 far locations those times defined me as i still am generally the same in beliefs ..not to say i haven't matured and learned hard lessons but i hadnt yet made the mistakes that have bothered me most. the hardest thing for me was losing my freedom. i cant stay in one place yet, ive been life is at a standstill and i grow tormented and weary with these days passing.. the streets staying the same maybe there's a lesson to be learned from these hard times i hope im not schizo babbling how did you enjoy your 16th year of living?
@@blablabla9348 wow your reply is like a poem! it sounds like a big time of growth of you :D and no you are not babbling at all. i made some mistakes that still bother me alot then too. overall for me it was pretty good. i was busy with sport and also in school i was in year 11 so i was very occupied and did not have much time to play around. It was difficult but not as difficult as year 12, when i was 17-18, lol. may i ask how did you lose your freedom? i felt that my freedom has been increasing as ive gotten older?
@@blablabla9348 Quite a deep and thoughtful reply to such a seemingly simple question. I have some simple advice for a budding soul such as yourself. Try your best to forget all things outside of your control. All things. Focus in on the choices you make every day, pay attention to how they make you feel. Seriously ask yourself what you want out of your life, not what is expected of you from others. Navigate your life and mind into a flow where you become who you are meant to be. I have the utmost faith you will find the purpose you seek.
the first four songs (skiptracing, homage, cary me back, tessellation) I have always always played on my guitar since 2021 and I call it "skiptracing medley" because I know all of the lyrics to the song & bass tabs & guitar stuff
The first track will now & forever be my "First Time Going To California" theme earlier this year. The friend I was with let me hear it while we were cruising to Venice Beach & it's such a vibe. 🏖🌴🚗
Heyoo! I listened to a song or two from mild high club years ago, totally forgot about the title and tried to find it, only for youtube to recommend it today! Finally found yall again!
I'm very thankful for all those videos with Homage that made me know this gem. This album it's just so incredibly calm but also so rhythmic, it makes me want to dance but at the same time just lay down and close my eyes, "¿Whodunit?" scared me tho xD.
Funny you mention this. The drum machine at the very beginning of this reminds me of a couple songs on XTC's Skylarking which has a similar summery feeling. Maybe I am stretching a bit here....
Homage Someone wrote this song before And I could tell you where it's from The 4-7-3-6-2-5-1 to put my mind at ease Please just have a laugh with me 'Cause you know I'm borrowing by now These sounds, have already crowned Come on, it's a silly dream Dreaming of the imagery unfound The view sits nice from that cloud And if you want a piece of my thoughts There's a coin worth flipping Why don't you toss? Honestly (besides Homage) most of the songs on this album and most likely the other songs from Mile High Club are underrated, they're just as good as Homage, I'm a bit disappointed that most people online, only remember or cover Mile High Club for Homage, I really love all of the songs (well maybe not Whodunnit) from Skiptracing
i feel so cool for having listened to this album before tyler or fantano mentioned it.. not in a superiority complex way but more in a "wait this means my music taste isnt actually straight garbage" way
I have to travel 2hs to go to university every day and I always listen to the same music. This time decided to sacrifice my data and listen to something new. Glad I did that
If you don't know what the hommage is about, it's about a song in the movie "Les demoiselles de Rochefort". A beautiful french movie by Jacques Demy. I really recommend it!
