Here’s an updated take on my I Am A Real Person video! At the time of making that animation I was not very comfortable with Caitlyn and Jace’s new designs, so I felt it wasn’t very representative of my artstyle, so here’s a new version I think I’m more comfortable with! I made the sound using the song Dust Collector by Yghypnos and an audio clip from Meet the Robot Telemarketer Who Denies She’s a Robot! This sound/video is inspired by the original audio with Hey Kids made by spacecatfromzolar on TikTok! The backgrounds in Jace’s parts are canon locations in his and Caitlyn’s story, and the backgrounds in Caitlyn’s parts are (mostly non canon) references to old videos! I’m not entirely sure of the lore behind these characters, but it’s like I can physically see the feeling of slight heartbreak in Jace’s dead eyes. Well done, wonderful showcase
if i remember correctly, this girl is jace’s best friend who is ofc VERY VERY DEAD. and she decides to possess him to carry out her half-baked revenge plot
This is the first time I have actually, genuinely been creeped out and scared in so long. I thought I had grown numb to horror...my only regret is watching this at 1 am.
I got to say, your art-style is so unique and beautiful. It reminds me of a vhs tape from the 80s but it’s also so remnant of todays time, it’s easily creepy at times but also always pretty to look at, it has touches of realism to it but also cartoonish
In the forest scene I see a creature but also a face (to the left, right above Jace’s shoulder) and I can’t tell if I’m tripping or not. I’m super interested in what the lore is. I also really love the art/artstyle!

I have looked at this multiple times and I love how there is a mini little story told throughout the cuts. Honestly love the video, also not sure about it though just love these types of videos
I feel like there is a dark sad meaning behind this in reality we are working ourselves like robots and yet we still feel the horror showing how life turns upside down for them.
For people who are dumb and don't understand: He wants her specifically (emphasis on specifically) to say "I'm not a robot". But she says "I'm a real person" instead.
I keep thinking about this short every now and then. It's expertly done fr. (Then i think about it from the audio perspective as someone who does call work and knows that this woman on the other line has a script that she had to follow even when people say stuff like thai and she cannot actually stray from it and I know she's just so frustrated at that moment because she cant explain that at all. And this horror audio always breaks a little for me because Ive been there and it's so funny and annoying to think about how people dont know this kinda stuff.)
This may be a little dark but I sense this is a conversation between a guy and a suicide hotline worker and he's asking this of her to confirm that someone genuinely is helping him
I noticed that there are spiders in every frame the boy is in (from the comments, I think his name is Jace?) Except for the snowy scene and the one after. Interesting detail to go out of your way to add.
