True, but look at big moments in big games in the new Mile High and that camera is shakin like a mf'er. I still watch the '15 AFC Championship game just for appreciation of the noise Broncos Country's made that damn fine day. That game is definitely in my top 5 favorite Broncos games. GO BRONCOS!!
Greatest Stadium ever built! The noise it created on a Monday night! Wow! Nothing like it! The confetti after a touchdown! So many memories, I have 20 years and that wasn't long enough.
Mile High Baby!!! Watched games in the east, North, and west stands . I got to see a Monday and Sunday night against the Raiders always a great time. Got to see Metalica with Linkin Park and Korn there too. All good memorys . 🤘🤘🤘
Man the mile high thunderdome was truly magical back then the broncos where almost unbeatable at home those where the great orange crush days bring back the old unis bring back that home field magic
Growing up in North Jersey and having to go to church every Sunday. CBS carried the NFC games and usually we didn’t get home until the second half. But those late afternoon AFC games would come on just after dinner🏈
I lived 14 blocks away from the stadium; at one time also worked security and taking tickets etc. For many years ago; got to hear many concerts there as well I definitely miss those times indeed!! Had a blast working there!!!
Back in the day watching the Denver broncos games on NBC it always filled with broncos fans plus when the seahawks raiders or chargers had the ball it got so louder than the kingdome
I remember going to pick up our season tickets at their ticker office (must have been around 1995) and looking up to see them patching huge holes (like 3 feet in diameter) in those ramps that people walk on to go up to the upper level on the West side. I assume they created the holes due to week spots so they could patch them up but it was at that moment when I realized they were probably never going to be able to renovate it. Like others have said, there will never be anything like it and I sure do miss that place.
The undisputed home court/field advantage of all time was the 1980's Boston Celtics in The Garden. But the next best is surely the Denver Broncos is Mile High Stadium. Now maybe it's because John Elway was a HUGE part of it. Just like Larry Bird was a massive reason the 80's Celtics just would NOT lose at home. A shame these great buildings were replaced. Just like the Orange Bowl in Miami where the Dolphins and Hurricanes enjoyed such a huge home field advantage because of the way the stadium was built. Ever since moving to Joe Robbie Stadium or whatever they call it now, the Canes and Fins have sucked hind tit at home. Just like our Broncos aside from a few years with Manning at the helm.
