Miles Edgeworth meets with Gregory Edgeworth 

Sorry for disappearing and reappearing at random lately... My schedule has been completely ruined because of my military service :/

The whole of the Edgeworth family is such a tragedy. We never hear of Mile's mother, but we can assume that Miles lost his mother, Gregory lost his wife, at likely a young age. Gregory holds so much guilt for feeling like he caused all this to happen. In the end, he only has undying love for his son and wanted him to be happy, as evidenced in all the little times in AAI2 when various interactions remind him of his son and worry about whether he's making friends, etc. And Miles feels like he betrayed his own father by going down the prosecutor path and even taking on von Karma as his mentor. Ashamed to even face his father after death. It's really heartwarming and tragic to see him face him like this.

I wish this happened. Miles deserves to know his father would love him no matter what, and Gregory deserves to know he's not to blame for what happened. And everyone needs therapy!

Call me crazy, but I’m pretty sure Gregory would recognize Miles as soon as he saw him, since he looks the same as he did a kid, with the same haircut

Very nice. I love seeing Miles act so childish in front of his dad and Gregory thinking about everyone he was forced to leave behind I wonder if Gregory would've joined the Yatagarasu had DL-6 not happened. I bet Badd wanted to recruit him after all he did in IS-7

i am happy Miles and Raymond get to talk to him again and Mia gives him comforting words so he can rest easy and be at peace with himself

oh this is so well done, the whole way Miles behaves, naturally he would react like that if he got the chance to see his father he has such a hard time showing his feelings but you can see from his text that he really wants to see him but still feels like he in a way failed his father but of course after what miles says that after phoenix wright his friend helped him he goes the right way to help those who need it plus he is the chief prosecutor how can his father not be proud of him, oh this just miles he deserves all the hugs he can get if I have to shackle him myself to then give him the hugs

How a fanmade scenario can fit effortlessly into the canon of AA right from how the dialogue is written, the way each character talks and behaves, down to the same emotional weight I felt when going through certain moments in the games speaks volumes of your proficiency as a writer. i almost cried from what gregory was trying to "pass" on to miles

There is a certain degree of irony from all this. Had Gregory Edgeworth taken the stairs instead of the elevator, DL-6 wouldn't have happened, which in turn would've altered the course of history regarding certain characters in the franchise.

In spite of the service, you still manage to produce such quality. You sir deserve a medal for that alone

I just wanted to say that I've been for some reason obsessed with these, and that you have been doing such a great job of making these feel natural and actually as if they were something that would be in the ace attorney games! Bravo!

I have a possible theory/headcanon for this series that concerns this situation: The DL-6 Incident affected the Kingdom of Khura'in and gave way to the 'Defense Culpability Act' because it took place 4 years before Apollo's true father Jove was murdered. Misty Fey was a spirit channeler, but when Misty channelled Gregory (and he didn't know who the murder was) it gave Spirit Channeling a bad-reputation (thanks to Redd White leaking the evidence) and Khura'in must've caught wind of it and got angry and ergo very aggressive with using Seance (whether Spirit-Channeling or the Divination-Seance) as evidence to show how it was the strongest but they relied solely on the Divination that nothing else was used causing a corruption in sentencing and especially since Garan/Inga took over and made that horrible law to control the Kingdom's system.

This. This is definetly one of my favourite videos of yours ( even though all of them are a delight to watch over and over) . I believe that we never got to truly see Mile's true feelings on the death of his father throughout the series, and i believe this perfectly encaptures not only that, but also shows Gregory Edgeworth's intelligence. Absolutely brilliant.

Another excellent video. I've always had a soft spot for these sorts of fanworks, that tie up loose ends and bring characters closure that there wasn't time for in their original source material. This is a very good example of that and I hope you do more like it in the future, alongside the more humorous videos (which I also greatly enjoy).

[This is my second attempt at posting this comment, because RU-vid in all its wisdom decided to delete my comment for no reason whatsoever and I had not copied the text, so now I am rewritting this entire wall of text from scratch-thanks for that, RU-vid.] I'm not going to focus on how well-written the dialogues are, because I've done so in the past. I'm just going to point to a specific moment in the video that I absolutely love, which is 11:42. I LOVE how you timed the two small pauses to emphasize Mia's words. It's nothing major, but it shows a level of attention to detail that is rare to see in objectionlol vids. Most people don't do that. I tip my hat to you, sir. With that said, you still owe us another video of Gregory being channeled. I still remember that post of yours where you asked for characters that Gregory should interact with while he's channeled. I remember how I, as well as many of your watchers, nominated Franziska, and I even gave a version of how I'd do it: Franziska apologizing to Gregory for her father's actions, Gregory instead thanking her for being there for Miles and Franziska getting teary-eyed. Well, I think the way you wrote this video, with Miles refusing to reveal his identity to Gregory, would tie in with my idea nicely and it'd also provide a nice change in tone: after that scene with Franziska, Miles walks in pretending to be the "assistant" and then Franziska goes from being teary-eyed to whipping Miles. And before she has a chance to explain, Gumshoe, Kay, Sebastian and Phoenix walk in and they're all like "ayyyo wassup Mr. Edgeworth?", to which Miles has a mini stroke on the inside but still remains stone faced and refuses to admit he's Miles, feigns ignorance and claims that they were addressing Gregory instead. And then we get a parody Logic Chess battle between Gregory and Miles, where Gregory puts two and two together and exposes Miles' identity by saying that the others have never met him so they couldn't possibly know he's an Edgeworth, so the one they were talking to was Mr. Assistant, so the assistant is Miles. After that Miles finally gives up the act and hugs it out with his old man and everyone cheers. The End! I'd make this myself but English is not my native language and I haven't messed with objectionlol in ages, so the end result would be much poorer than how I imagine it in my head. That is why I hope to see something like this from you (and just to be clear, obviously what I said above about you owing us another one of these vids is a joke, but your writing is so good that it's a crime against humanity if we don't see more from you and this is not a joke). In any case, another superbly done video. Thank you! :D

Yo guys there's this theory that something happened between Misty and Gregory that's why he took Miles away from his mother, Misty Fey

Even tough the video is perfect it just some of the musics kinda dont fit scenes and my advice is that you should try or if you can add AAI2 soundtracks some of the themes might fits the mood of the scene on your future videos or even try adding more AAI1 themes too cause ngl they do have things that Really FITS it (also trying not sound it like you should only add those themes)

Gregory seemed to forget ghosts can "hear" each other thoughts (assuming this follows the logic of Ghost Trick). There is no inner monologue in the ghost world.
