Thanks for this. Putting a New Set on my H-2 Hummer SUT this week. I appreciate this Review. Discount Tire told me this was a great value vs the Nitto Terra Graplers I use to only buy but have shot up to darn near $550 per tire. Not paying that for 1 tire any more. 👍
I Have a set of these on My Truck. Super quiet and great in the snow and rain we get up here. I was hesitant because they are an imported tire but they are just as good after 30k miles as the American branded tires I usually buy. I will go back to these when I buy another set.
I just bought a set of the Nokian Outpost APT's, 3 peak rated, made in Tennessee in the 235/60/18 size. The tires have a little road noise compared to the OEM all season tires. The Outpost have a very generous 13/32 tread and 60k tread warranty compared to most new tires I looked at.
So I had run the Nokian's AT tire and got 74k miles out of them on a 2012 Ford F150 that towed a TT. I am thinking on going with this new AT replacement, Outpost AT... How are they holding up? I traded the f150 off on a 2020 2500hd, so far I switched to the Firestone XTs and got 40k on them and most likely can get another 5k out of them before they need to be replaced... Wondering if I will get the same out of these Nokians or switch to the new Kumho's AT52s... or go with these Milestar XTs... Any ideas, any one?
Matt Great Review thank you Nice looking tire!! I'm Running the Goodyear Duratrac!! For now !! Keek up the Great Stuff mr. Happy Holidays!! The Vermonter
@@kigaku_yta low quiet hum slightly more noise than an A/T but much quieter than a mud terrain tire. If you have your radio on you most likely won't even notice the hum depending on your vehicles sound deadening.
I'd love for a review channel to measure decibels rolling on smooth terrain slightly downhill with the vehicle in neutral/coasting at NEW & at 10k miles. My Nitto Ridge Grapplers became roaring insanity at 15k miles.
The single rib on the side diverts waters pray so that it doesn't fly so high. changes the spray angle from roughly 45 degrees to... well, more horizontal. So other motorists gets less water spray on their windshield.
The Outpost APT's are wearing well, had the SUV inspected, was down to 11/32 tread with 7,000 miles on them. My only complaint would be a slight hum at highway speed but because of the aggressive tread that is to be expected, they do quite down when the tires are warmed up.. I bought these tires in anticipation of snow, here in the east but none so far to test the tires.
I cannot get an answer on this anywhere, not even from Milestar themselves. Can you tell me if the non LT sizes in this tire still have the 3 ply sidewall?
How good are this for towing, I been searching for reviews about it and haven't found anything about towing capabilities, I pull an rv Dry Weight 5868 LBS and am looking to get a set of 35x12.5x22,.
On their website it says these XT’s are NOT 3-Peak Snow Flake Rated?! But you said they are and pointed to the sidewall? So are they or are certain tire sizes not ? I’m confused
Sure they are crap! I have these on a 1/2 ton chevy. If you like to hydroplane these primacy’s are for you. If you like traction do a hard pass on these. You are welcome. Just saved you $1000
@@broken4door HAD them on my 14 f150 crew 4x4. 285/70/17 on aftermarket wheels. Discount tire warrantied and replaced them. Running Goodyears on it now. Much better.
Would love for you to do a video on the 3PMSF rated stamp form the tire safety admin. Is the stamp legit? Or is it a scam? Also what tests are used to earn the stamp as well. That'll be awesome!
Have these on my Ram 1500 and with the recent snow dump, they performed amazing. Stock height with a leveling kit, was able to get through about 2ft of snow. Got stuck going in reverse because snow has pushed up against my rear axle but was able to go back forward and pick a new path no problem. They out performed my wife's Lexus with studded snow tires and full time AWD. Definitely going to get them again when I wear them out. Haven't been able to test them in mud yet but I don't imagine that they will let me down
I got these tires today, they’re really nice. Thank you for your review. I think that ring around the sidewall is a fender flare for the tire. What do you think?
Absolutely love this tire. Hate that they raised the price soooo much. Why are the priced the same as a USA made General AT/X? This exact milestar tire was made in Vietnam.
Don't bother, lots of people getting poor wear and blowouts/cut sidewalls. But some people love getting free stuff so they shill for these POS tires on RU-vid.
