Sir, Responsible cost centre doesn't receive the costs from settlement but requesting cost centre should receive the costs through settlement it means settlement receiver should be requesting CC. Responsible CC is responsible for delivering the project.
@@myonlineeducation8288 Sir what you said is right only in case both requesting cost centre and responsible cost centre is same In all other cases requesting CC will take the settlement costs If by any chance (I don't think happens) business process says responsible CC should receive settlement costs then it is a wrong process and as a finance consultant it is your responsibility you advise them the right process Every employee is assigned to a cost centre which is also known as home cost centre and if that employee is responsible for delivering the project then his home CC will become responsible CC in project When employee is paid salary his home CC gets debited When employee working on a project then he books his time against that WBS/Network and in this case wbs/Network gets debited and employee home CC gets credited Which settles to Requesting CC at the end of month, which means employee costs are debiting to Requesting CC At the end of month you can run cost centre reports and see which employee spent how many hours on each project or CC
