No, the Leafs are going to be spreading out the offence this year running 4 lines. No more stacking 2 lines but more towards a Boston or Florida team defence. Instead of winning 6-5 it will be more like 3-2 games.
It's a HUGE problem right across Canada. Most players prefer playing in the US (including Canadians) and the only way cities like Toronto can get Free Agents is to overpay term wise and eventually put the player on LTIR. You cannot separate politics and sports in Canada anymore. The Trudeau taxes/inflation and the ridiculous lock down way he handled COVID, while Florida players and kids were all partying on the beaches. I dont care what the numbers says the eyes never lie, Ullmark is NOT the same caliber as Swayman..Swayman is far more mentally strong under pressure..I been saying for years that yes Ullmark is a good goalie but Swayman is just so much better when push comes to shove..Boston being the smart organization they are once again made the right decision keeping Swayman as #1
