This is one my favourite Mark Turner Solos, I half transcribed it a few years ago then finished it off a few days ago.

Here Mark plays over the beautiful changes of Milestones, a song written for Miles Davis by John Lewis of "The Modern Jazz Quartet" Fame.
The reason I love this solo is because Mark really outlines the changes in a way that only he can. He actually gets a little lost in the last chorus and goes to the bridge 8 bars too early but, the way he recovers as well as his phrasing , swing, pacing, and the theme he uses to close, make this one of my favourite Mark Turner solos EVER

Wherever possible I've written the long altissimo lines an octave lower to make it easier to read.
