Thankyou for posting this. I grew up at the top of chilton estate and though I’ve moved away I’m always trying to dig up more info on the workhouse. I seem to remember a time when the old crosses were still in place in the paupers graveyard, I used to walk my dog around those fields, but perhaps that’s a false memory, I’m no longer sure. If you have any other history relating to the workhouse I’d love to see more videos.

Now add to the puzzle... alternative milestones going all along the A14 to Bury' with a toll gate, Halfway house along the Finborough Rd and the next milestone(very ornate) along lower Rd in Onehouse, then on to Woolpit. Then you can see some questions forming.
