Lovely. Having been in Milford on a cruise ship early in the morning and watching 6 or so small planes follow us in and fly overhead, then later flying in myself I was a bit disappointed to not overfly a cruise ship to get even more of a visual sense of scale . You missed out here but you’re not alone, I have never seen any Milford inbound footage with a ship below. My uncle was in the Australian or NZ airforce during WW2 and told the story of flying into Milford on a training run (against orders) , only to discover the (original) Queen Mary sheltering in there. Not sure if it actually was the QM but great story if it was. Thanks for posting, we must all get back there one day.
