Nice belt. Amazing to think the rig was likely together all its life since it was dumped in a mass surrender pile. For dry, rough textured, pebbled leather equipment, you might wanna try Ko cho line leather grease. Softens, revitalizes, stops from deteriorating and is non permanent to the material
The first k98 ammo pouch looks like a "42" mark to me after zooming in 🧐👍 But everything looks great! I love how some of your stuff looks like it was untouched and not messed with since the day it was "liberated" or captured 😉. @@kennethreese4659 you would probably appreciate hearing about one my k98 ammo pouches and also my favorite because it's not just in minty condition but above the makers mark is stamped a WaffenAmt "M" (KreigsMarine) 😮 .. It's posted on a the relics forum. Anyway it's up your alley I think probably along with many other things that huge "Dorks" like us are like 😊lol..
@@kennethreese4659 I was close at the Overloon war museum in the Netherlands today. The US 7th armoured was there in oct. 1944 fighting with Luftwaffe and Wehrmacht soldier. US general Silvester was the US commanding general back in the day.
