Remember back , in the beginning of the war , some were heard saying that the Ukrainian WOMEN had more courage than the Afghanistani soldiers ! And not to take any thing away from the brave Ukrainian defenders - but the supplies and encouragement from Poland and the Polish NATO Forces too !
The problem is Russia has jets that can carpet bomb those woods Ukrainians are in.But something tells me Putin is setting Ukraine up,to use harsher bombs on Ukraine, and justify it by saying Ukrainians were attacking Russian citizens.Russia is one of the strongest country in the world, why would they just let Ukrainians walk into their country.
@@sleepyjoe7843 regardless how can Ukraine invade their invader? And actually hold some semblance of territory? Putin obviously wants to flatten the whole area but that’s where the natural gas pipeline is so it’s strategic. Like I said this is like America invading Mexico then Mexico taking a few towns in Texas by military force
@@almaddow3229 it’s quite axiomatic. They’re in a war. If Russia bombs them, they’ll be bombing their own citizens as well. A hell of a military move. Russia can put their weapons whenever their dictator in chief wants to.
They've lived by survival mode since 2014 after the first time. It requires innovation to keep things going, then 2024 hit and suddenly the West understood. We're seriously slow on the uptake in supporting Ukraine. 😤
Russia's military strength turned out to be just theoretical. Ukraine exposed it embarrassingly. We used to compare NATO vs. Russia. We wrongly overhyped Russia's military strength.
if russia wanted to destroy ukraine it would have day 1, they don't want to though they have other plans. and now ukraine have turned into the invaders, shouldn't you be hating on them now going by your own logic from the past two years?
The more the free world invest in a proxy war (and divest from Putin's gas), the better. They were somewhat a bit cautious, hopefully that will change their minds.
It demonstartes how much faith Ukraine's warriors have, not only only in President Zelenskyy, but more importantly in their cause to liberate their homeland. Slava Ukraini.
And it's also where most of the Russian gas gets pumped into Europe. Ukraine made a deal with not to destroy it until 2025 then it's gone. THAT is gonna screw with Russian economy big time
nah, great leader Putin had anticipated all that in his 3-day special military operation, what the silly west didn't know was that was only a fake name to fool them.
I wish they would highlight how well the Ukrainians have treated the Russian civilians. The comparison of Ukraine in Kursk vs the Russians in Bucha is stark
@@EduardoNomas-zv4ms Well the Hamas, Russia and Iranian-supported Palestinians aren't doing so well, I wonder why that is? Why would anyone support a new Taliban state on the Mediterranean?

@@ragnarandersson2866Ukraine should show some compassion. You would probably find Russian soldiers like any other countries soldiers aren't cool with killing people
My impression was that a lot of Russian contract soldiers from units in other military districts have been tapped for the front in Ukraine. Both Ukraine and Russia have lingered on but not fully implemented conscription.
This isn't sustainable. All these photos of Ukraine taking "Trophies" from Russian Troops will just anger The Russian population. Look at history... You invade Russia, and you energize Russians for a major counter-offensive where they take all. I think this was utterly stupid. How the hell do they have the manpower to cover the flanks and not get encircled? The only way this ends is with a peace agreement where Ukraine surrenders some land.
As a journalist(guy in Ukraine), you should get that putin being embarrassed is a straight loss of power. The thing that will end him. He may not get it back either. This is a huge win for Ukraine alone.
I'm sure the families of the Ukrainians who died for this little adventure in Sudzha will be consoled knowing that Putin was embarrassed for a few days.
I wish the best but there are still questions on if this means anything beyond a temporary morale boost. Though if they can threaten Kharkiv city, that'll be interesting
Russia has quadrupled it occupied territory in Ukraine since 2022 invasion and controls southern Dnipro River to the Black Sea. Occupies Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts while absolutely no rebellions in regions they control and all fighting on Ukraine side of front lines as they advance. All fronts, not inhibited by the river, Russia has been continuing to advance while media claims Ukraine forces being allowed to march around fields and small farming communities in Kursk Oblasts as they are being pushed out of their own Oblasts is progress towards victory. We are idiots to think this is signs of Ukraine winning or that millions haven't been killed all because our Coward in Chief was afraid to directly confront a dicktator for the last three and a half years.
It's basically him vs the world what are you talking about? Donations & freedom fighters coming from everywhere. You're foolish if you think Ukraine is doing this alone.

@@3runjosh because its pretty obvious the intelligence apparatus in Russia has failed, their logistics are dog shit, and their reserves are the bottom of the barrel. Good for courage Ukrainien but we have to acknowledge that without Biben leadership to mobilize funds to help we won’t be here today. Thank you President Biden and European Allies.
If biden and Obama hadn't been so spineless, this war would not have started in the first place. As soon as Russia began its troop buildup, US and NATO should have done the same thing to keep russia guessing as to whether tNATO would get involved. In that years time, Ukraine should've been allowed entry into NATO as it wanted to do and that would've assured russia would not invade.
@richardm4825 yoo, type worm. I'm calling you so because you're certainly not from Ukraine. All normal men from Ukraine have already been mobilized. Most Russians who can speak English work in IT, and they are immune from mobilization. Google it. No worries, Texas republic will start civil war soon, and then finally, you will be an expert in the subject of mobilization.

The best tactic Ukraine has so far is ambushing Russian equipment when it is traveling. The goal is to disable or capture more weapons than Russia can build or buy. This also makes it easier to capture soldiers with the least amount of harm. Remember; Russian soldiers are victims of Putin's madness too. Trying to break through fortified positions is costly to both opponents. When on the road, smaller drones can be used to damage vehicles just enough to disable them, with less chance of harming operators.
To any Trump supporters reading this: I thought you guys liked Freedom and people who fought against tyranny. Do you really want to see Trump get elected and have him stop supporting the Ukrainians? Do you really want to throw those people and their brave army to the mercy of Putin? You know that is what Trump will do. At long last do you have no shame? Putin's got mud on his face, and VERY deservedly so. It can easily stop by Russia leaving Ukraine... ALL of Ukraine. And Putin only has himself to blame for Ukraine desiring to join NATO, which should happen as soon as possible. Glory to Ukraine! 🇺🇦
Though they faced low tier soldiers who had little or no experience, this is a huge victory for Ukraine. It boost morale, shows ordinary Russians have no heart for Putin’s cause, and shows Putin is a lying coward for not going through with his treats if Russia was invaded.

@@swafflemanish shh- that hilariously humiliating retreat didn't happen. they *definitely* didn't donate/lose more than a thousand ifv+mbt. nope. nossir. never happened & no-one saw it. ukraine re-took more land in the first month than russia's taken since then, too. meanwhile russia's stockpiles of armour & arty get miiiighty hard to spot (let's just agree to pretend they've taken them all inside for the first time in 40 years) & they've been losing ~1000 men a day for pretty much the whole of 2024 might be time to try fighting the war instead of pretending they're winning it. but i doubt putin's smart enough to think of that.
Take it from a soldier who deployed twice. Moving a unit the size of a brigade even three hundred miles with all gear on short notice is simply not possible for Russia. It would greatly tax the Americans. Also Russians dont do mobile warfare anyway.
We moved over 100,000 people in 3 days over 7,000 miles Despite the circumstances, the American military logistics capabilities is unmatched... Anywhere. Would it take our CT trained ground forces a minute to figure shit out? 100% but don't forget we are the one teaching them about maintaining and securing logistics lines
Never deployed, but done railhead ops for NTC. Possibly the epitome of organized chaos. My thing is they should hypothetically be able to drive, we used to do Sedres and it was multiple brigades over 300 mi in a day. I get its a warzone but you'd think in a week you'd see enough Russians to halt the advance.
One thing about war is: how it can bring out the worst in humanity. The Ukrainians captured the enemy and treated them like humans. This goes to show you that Ukraine at its core is a good country with decent people.

The Russians are sending quite a few "refugees" to Moscow, which indicates it's not that far away. Ukranian military forces have used jamming equipment very effectively, then putting surveillance drones up, bringing them back, jamming again and it continues. Someone definitely planned this extremely well.

With respect to the retired general. russians did have two defence lines, they also had dragon teeth. They also had the best reinforced and underground trenches and strong holds. There is not enough focus on what engineering actions that Ukrainian army undertook to brake through the lines and get behind the backs of c-Ints.
Smart move forcing Russians to pull out out Ukraine to defend Russia. Looks like the war will end with Russia losing. I don’t think there is any point for Russia at this point with their losses. Ukraine will keep getting resources while Russia has limited support. 🇺🇦
In just a few short years, Russia has gone from the second best military in the world, to the second best military in Ukraine, to the second best military in Russia.
Russia's failure to adapt to modern warfare finds it's roots in their strategic belief that quantity outweighs quality and that does not just pertain to hardware but also command and right down to the soldier on the field. They embraced (and still do) the ONLY tactic that has EVER worked for them since re-taking Stalingrad and chasing the Germans back to Berlin and that is simply overwhelming an opponent by sheer mass. What they fail to recognize even to this day is the evolution of battlefield tactics and that what held water in 1942 is no longer applicable today. Combine that with a commonly held world opinion that they have come to believe themselves is that they are truly of "super-power" status but that...that is based upon their nuclear capabilities...the last REAL war they fought even if cold, it is not however based on battlefield strategy and for that...the chickens have come home to roost.

Absolutely. You should delete "the" from your blessing though. It is added pejoratively in ruzzian language to denote a sub-region, of lesser importance than a country and seeped into English because of ruzzian cultural domination and suppression of Ukraine. It would be like saying "the Canada" or "the Ireland".
