@@SirLynnx As an ex-teacher, it comes easy to be both exhaustive and exhausting. And, although a Brit, I did serve in the French army, so my allegiance, by heart and oath, is to France, and not the 4 sad, poor countries held in thrall by a monarchy. Thank you for your response.

Most people who have served or are serving in the army, police or other services (no matter which country they come from) are characterized by values of honor, human and family values. I am sure that in a state of extreme necessity, each of these people will defend the values they have sworn to. @@SirLynnx No, I wasn't in the Legion. I joined the best light infantry regiment in the world, (we all think our regiment is the best!), the 170e Régiment d'infanterie mécanisée, based near Saverne and Metz.
