An annual tradition since 1958, thousands of military service members and veterans made a pilgrimage to Lourdes, France in May. Reporter Colm Flynn travels to Lourdes to meet some of those military service men and woman who have travelled to the shrine of Our Lady with the Knights of Columbus to look for healing. The Knights of Columbus sponsor the pilgrimage for 217 wounded, ill and injured with caregivers and companions. These are a mix of former military, active duty, and recently retired. They go to Lourdes looking for peace and healing.
Hosted by Montse Alvarado, EWTN News In Depth welcomes guests in a discussion of current events in the Church, politics, and culture, all through the lens of the Catholic faith.
This show is about finding out who we are as people and as Catholics, and how we can confidently live our faith in the world. It is produced by EWTN News: www.ewtnnews.com
