On 2 September 2022, four Military Police Dog Handlers and Military Police Dogs completed their training to become qualified Military Police Dog Teams.
Their initial Military Working Dog Handler Basic Course ran over 15 weeks at Royal Australian Air Force Base Amberley covering the fundamentals of dog handling. They then undertook the Military Police Dog Handler Basic Course, which taught them how to employ their dogs within a field and operational environment.
Following their graduation, the new Military Police Dog Teams conducted a capability demonstration.
