This film, "Fitz" is BASED ON TRUE EVENTS. My name is Jessa Gaul and I am the filmmaker that wrote and directed this film based on my own personal life. "Fitz" is a film that is dedicated to my step dad, Andrew Scott Fitzpatrick. We lost him on Dec 17th 2012 and it completely broke my family. We were unaware of what was going on with him because the Military trains to keep everything inside or it is a sign of weakness. I wanted to make a film that would inspire others to speak up and know that it is ok to ask for help. It is NOT a sign of weakness it is a sign of STRENGTH! Please help spread the awareness of PTSD by sharing this film. I hope this film inspires the many heroes that battle with PTSD everyday that they are not alone and to keep going. I dedicate this film to my dad and to other families who have lost their love ones. They fight to keep us safe overseas, let's fight to keep them safe when they are home.
