Military Two Step 

"Lest we forget"
Melbourne Colonial Dancers held an Armistice Ball in November 2018. The theme was chosen to mark the centenary of the ending of the First World War on 11th November 1918.
The Barnstringers were the musicians for the evening. The Military Two Step was part of the program.
The Dance Instructions are:
MILITARY TWO STEP 16 Bar 6/8 or 2/4 tunes
Cpl facing LOD hold inside hands
4 Bars Outside Feet step away and together Walk 3
steps down LOD turn inwards to face opposite way
4 Bars Outside feet step away and together walk 3 steps
To place turn to face each other.
2 Bars Balance fwd & back
2 Bars Man takes 2 chasse steps down LOD while Lady
Turns under man’s right arm
4 Bars Rotary Chasse (Waltz)
