Born and raised in Pennsylvania myself, I've just gotta say to anyone from elsewhere: THIS is as just about the real deal as humanly (or, these guys) possible! That the hunters took out "the bear" - in Pennsylvania, mind you - is one helluva triumphantly ridiculous yet authentic twisted ending! During my late teens and early 20's, I was a park ranger in "The Commonwealth" and there hadn't been bears there in at least 50 years before the 1970's! Deer - as in targets for deer hunters - there were so many without any top predators that the Park Service had to "cull the deer herds" with snipers after every licensed deer hunting season. And the PA deer hunters were usually so drunk, stupid, drunk and stupid, or possessing all sorts of mental defects aplenty that the "licensed deer hunting season" never ever got anywhere near its intended goal of reducing the HUGE annual overpopulation of deer to prevent the complete deforestation of PA's forests. As WC Fields reportedly once said (as part of my largely fictitious childhood folklore, I admit): "Pennsylvania is a great place to be from - as in permanently from never to return!" And that's the foremost reason I fled that state to get 3,000 miles away out here on The Left Coast. Have to admit also that the speech and thought police here, adjacent to the Pacific Ocean, do occasionally make me long for the days when most American citizens could freely say what they thought - so you could easily determine whether to remain in their vicinity, or as I did, flee 3,000 miles away from them! Shane Gillis and troupe ring truly authentic to me, despite me not wanting to share much time - or any - personally with them as their comedic characters! The whole thing is perfect. From Shane’s character being out of breath when he says “Troops” to mckeever over-talking and asking what the question was. Every single character was rich and hilarious. And thank you for not making it a race thing; Hollywood would’ve 100% gone in that direction. The way y’all created the drama between the two groups was fantastic. These sketches are like the tropic thunder of sketches. Keep going.
