While we're talking about primers does anyone have a recommendation for a GREEN color corrector/primer? All the ones I've tried cancel out redness but leave me looking ashy as hell.
Redness and green over it will create a muddy color regardless, your best bet is to cover with a concealer to bring the life back to your skin especially if it’s darker than literal white lol
Just keep in mind it’s not for everyone. I bought into the hype with the milk hydro drip, I got the sampler with the makeup bag. I did not like it. Loved their blush but the primer didn’t do it for me. Now I got the newer elf primer the red one and am really enjoying it.
@@trinitymckinly9016 I also have dry skin so I might have to let elf win this one, my makeup almost always looks like it's flaking but thank you so much!
can u pls do a like red 90s grunge makeup look? or just a red grunge makeup look in general? i’m struggling so much trying to figure out how to do it lol
Nice hack !!! I tried the elf primer but it doesn’t work well with my oily skin but I don’t want to waste it so I’m gonna try it as an eyebrow gel instead. Thanks for the tip !!!
I was literally searching to see if there was a difference. I agree the elf one is a bit too sticky for me but I need something that grips my makeup. You’re videos are amazing as always 🤎
I know nobody will hear me out but PLEASE try a Vaseline stick compared to the milk cosmetics primer. This was actually a very old technique used by celebs like Marilyn Monroe, etc in the 50s. It's supposed to make your makeup super glowy, and it's very sticky so your makeup will stick on. +It's mainly used as a moisturizer and millions of other things and I'm pretty sure it can do all that too.
I love the Milk primer but it’s expensive so I bought the elf one and damnit I wish I had seen this before because seriously, my foundation looks so patchy!! I loved the Milk one and I was think I’m just gonna have to deal with the price again
I’ve been saying this!! Also… unless e.l.f. Is using a different name for it in their ingredient list… it doesn’t have any HYALURONIC ACID. Explains why it’s more drying and (imo) not a dupe.
What foundation would go well with milk hydro grip primer cuz my foundation just keeps on rolling off and look hell patchy and some parts of my face the foundation is nonexistent
It’s a water based primer, your foundation is probably an oil based one if it’s balling up. This happens because water and oil do not mix. So I’d try to find a water based foundation that you like. Hope this helps
