I've watched a few different channels since stumbling on this subject and I think what I like about you is that you don't have the top of the line equipment. You just have the basics, which allows you to be proud of "doing it yourself," I mean how can you be proud when some machine does all the work for you like mechanically rotating the log for you, moves itself down the log etc. I'd rather be able to say, "I did it" Kudos. 👍👍👍👍👍 PS I love the outtakes.

Lots of opinions on this species. Experience helps: Sweet Gum is a WONDERFUL Wood, and HAS been used, and IS being used to make all kinds of beautiful and functional things. Yeah, there are defects sometimes. Same with Firewood use; LOTS of Heat. - look it up. Just because some don't like it isn't much reason to call it "trash".
