This is the only one I have ever commented on. It was great. His idea of saving the water as he waits for water to heat up is a great idea for people any where. I always hate wasting that water and I have water. He has a comfortable attitude and life. Good for him.

Patrick is a great interviewer, because he listens to his guests, instead of talking over or interrupting them. At first, I thought the NYC guy was a little shy or tentative, but Patrick soon had him sharing details like they were old friends.

For a 2002 van, this gets the job done nicely. He can travel in comfort and not pay for a motel room. That generator was fairly quiet. Looks like a Roadtrek. Thanks for the great video.

New Jersey Outdoor Adventures, wow, this popped up in my suggested videos maybe bc I am a Jersey girl still in NJ & watch YT RVers & Vandwellers. It is a great interview. Kenny is the man. There is a lot of useful info for vandwellers especially for staying in the east bc most of these YTbers stay out west. I’m looking to buy something like this or a small Class C & travel out west for 3-6 months or longer next year. I just subbed & hope to see more interviews like this. Cheers, Mo in NJ

Great interview Patrick! Yeah. My first thought about that Dodge duelly chassis was the MPG. Just looks so damn heavy. Are "Van-ins" still a thing? In the early 90's I customized one of my retired Chevy plumbing vans and traveled the east coast going to these wild weekend long custom van events called Van-ins. You had to have a van to get in. Crazy days!

I’m a year late to this video. Yet, I considered this a homage to those that did this before the modern technology came about. Even his idea about filling the gallon jug with the wasted water that would be running down the drain before the water heats up. Knowledge from experience. Just because you have the best technology doesn’t take the place of common sense and what you can still learn from someone more experienced. This interview opened my ears and mind to real life Van camping. What it really requires to live in an RV or Van. Thanks for sharing such a wonderful blessing of knowledge with the rest of us. 🍻

There was a ton of WISDOMS in the things he spoke about. My husband and I have been enjoying RVING for 30 years Wintering in different places. We sold a house to do this by choice because we loved it so much. Almost all of his considerations were our own considerations when traveling, boondocking, campgrounds, urban stays, etc. Yes, his list was pretty comprehensive and a great 👍 knowledge bank for anyone who truly wants to start RVING and get up and running quickly at it. I don't think he mentioned tires... tires suitable for your style of traveling is extremely important. Maintaining your tires properly is equally, not only important to your own safety but to your vehicle's lifespan. Oh, BTW, try to PLAN AHEAD in knowing about any local laws that effect You and Your Rig, especially New Laws.

Loveeee this dude Kenny... IMHO he's a cross between Phil Jackson and Al Pacino... if he had a little Pamela Anderson I'd ask him to marry me! Funny, weird / strange is that the multi-storied building in the background was renovated by a childhood buddy of mine (Richie Rich spoiled brat kinda dude) back in the 80's I think. His dad was always trying to keep him busy and for two summers he screwed the shit outta that building.
