Song # 18 is my brother Jolo’s favorite song “Million Miles Away”. I also sequenced this and was part of my 12 midi song project in 1995.
Jenny Sugay is an Opera / Classical / Jazz / Pop Artist who started joining contests way back in 1992 and started singing as a profession in 2003 (solo then band). One second, you will be seeing her doing her arias, and maybe the next hour, she will be singing a Whitney Houston song! I met Jenny through my sister Sabrina+. They performed together in different events and hotel venues.
I first met Jenny at my sister Bimbim+’s wake where she, Jemuel, and Mona offered some songs. Then we jammed some songs too after the mass. The next time I saw Jenny was at my Mom’s wake. Same set-up, with Jemuel, and Mona.
I told Jenny, the next time we will jam will not be in a wake. Thank you, Jen for singing Million Miles Away. It means a lot, and foremost, for always being there for Sabrina, and our family. Jolo and I will visit you at your gig when I get a chance to come home and will contact Jemuel and Mona.
