Million Pound Bridge, April 2023 January2024 

The story of the funding, design and building of the new Schoolhouse Bridge (Br 86) on the Montgomery Canal near Crickheath in north Shropshire which reached completion in January 2024. The Restore The Motngomery Canal appeal, launched in 2017, raised over one million pounds from private sources and contractor Beaver Bridges commenced work in April 2023.
