He's only owned the properties for two years. He's probably cash flow positive, but hasn't yet fully exceeded the cost for the down payment, property taxes, insurance, maintenance, etc.
When you retire from the military, you do get healthcare for life including your spouse and children until they reach a certain age. You can even transfer your college fund or the GI bill to your eligible dependents like your spouse or children.
That is correct but there is no way he retired. He still looks like he is in late 20’s to early 30’s. Unless he medically retired out that statement about him having free healthcare is most likely incorrect.
The idea of going to college, then getting a career and working for a few decades, then retiring does sound appealing to me, because I grew up dirt poor, didn't have a path to college, and now I do physical labor for 30k a year. I wish I could be doing a boring office job with a regular schedule for 50k.
@@jbear0813 it is, especially since the point of a job is to provide for society. Ppl go crazy when they have to work for maybe 1/3 of their life when our ancestors and current billions live worse
@@jbear0813 Depends where you live i guess. In the UK, it doesn't matter how poor you are, you can get as high as a PHD id you want and the government will give you much more reasonable loan conditions than the US. For now anyway
Every experienced entrepreneur says that dropping out of college for 'millionaire way' or crazy business ideas it's a risky and unstable way. Except for huge winners, there are a lot of broken and desperate people who tried so hard and didn't get it. Doublethink before you bet everything on becoming a trader, youtuber, or dropshipping millionaire. Thanks for the video, Graham!
I think people should stay in College until they get a degree/etc. It is a bit of a silly idea to drop out and pursue Entrepreneurship without a decent backup plan, like using your degree/etc to get a great job so you can easily stay afloat if your business/etc fails.
Would be interesting to see a boomer with a "traditional" career path on here, no RU-vid channel, morning coffee with newspaper b-rolls 😂 mostly to see Graham react to the video
@@TomNook. Thanks, Tom! There's a lot of stereotypes out there that can hold people back. Ive found that a key factor in my happiness is doing what I want instead of what people expect me to do.
@@leavesintherain Great question, starboy! I actually answered that on the first reply to the main comment. I'm all about transparency, so let me know if you have more specific questions.
What a great story. Happy seeing entrepreneurs succeeding in their ventures! Would love to see Graham hire you for his wedding! Make it happen, Graham!
As a wedding musician, knowing that i earn what this guy charges for one wedding for the same amount of weddings he does in one year gives me great faith in pursuing my music career lol
I bet youll get more bookings if you raised your price, its weird i know but yeah id rather pay the $500 musician for my wedding than the $75 musician because the $500 person HAS to be better, right?
USAF veteran of ten years here. If Moses get's healthcare for life from the DoD and VA while he only served one enlisted contract it means the military fucked him up. I don't know how one gets at least a 30% disability rating while playing guitar. (We don't know his full service record). He is considered a disabled veteran. Usually if you get healthcare for life from the military it means you got injuried while in the line of duty or you served for at least twenty years. Which makes you a lifer. The military healthcare insurance is Tricare btw. You pay no or cheap co pays. Most doctors take the insurance. Everything is covered by Tricare. The only thing they don't cover is cosmetic healthcare. Like non medically required plastic surgery.
WOW haha I went to college with Moses! I met him because we were both part of the music program at our school. It’s so cool to see him doing so well, but it’s also trippy to see him on Graham’s channel.
Even though he dropped out of college, I don't think it's a big deal. I mean, he joined the military, so he clearly gained enough knowledge, skills, and discipline to make considerably more money than the average person with a Bachelor's or even Master's degree. These days, I feel like college is only good if you have a plan and know what you want to do. Only a handful of career fields pay well enough such that a person doesn't need a side hustle.
Even if California gets a huge cut on a property sale, Graham forgets that it was probably also the best place to have bought property for the appreciation that he got.
It depends really where you live. For instance, veterans in the Bay Area and surrounding areas would receive medical care with doctors from Stanford and UCSF since there are VA Centers affiliated with these universities.
“Profit” could be misleading. It may be “net cash flow”. The situation could be is that he has 15 year loans vs 30 years on those rental properties. So after 15 years it’s pretty much all gravy. The rental income will far exceed the property taxes.
Sucks working in the wedding industry though. You're working every single weekend and can't enjoy your weekends. Taking a weekend off becomes a huge opportunity cost. I have a very successful wedding photographer friend that eventually got burnt out. He's young tho so good for him..
But... you get the weekdays off. Ask any 9-5 person what he or she thinks. Though, I would believe on his weekdays, he needs to practice and meet his clients.
Hey Graham just saw the video it's good but the thumbnail says $500/day which comes to around $18.25 million a year while the headline says $245K a year so it's a bit confusing
If he makes 245k a year and has a monthly budget of 6,805/month then I want to know what he does with the other $163,340. Wait it's California, must be going to taxes.
I'VE BEEN DYING TO FIND ONE FREAKING VIDEO WHERE SOMEONE FROM LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS IS BUYING HOUSES AND GRAHAM COMMENTS ON MY FREAKING CITY AND IM SUPER HYPE! HE'S SAID ARKANSAS MULTIPLE TIMES!!!
Graham…why you hating on him for having a RU-vid channel?… you do & make a living off of it. Thought you would be more encouraging and see that as a positive. 🤷♀️
This is too easy, let’s see they live with 10k a year, now this takes creativity and resourcefulness. I made it through the streets of tenderloin, San Francisco, with my mindset and ingenuity
@@tc3rtr lmao imagine being so dense that you don’t understand that some people have to live like this and that there’s nothing wrong with being proud of how you deal with a bad hand
Militarily insurance is only good when ur in the military or retire from the military VA insurance is literally awful and my dad has struggled so much with va if he also didn’t have his work insurance he would be screwed
I’m hustling starving artist with a wife and three kids in SoCal. I have a bad addiction to Startbucks. Nothing else. I’m straight edge. Help me over come by latte obsession with some BankRoll coffee.
Graham, it says in the video he's saving $10,000 a month toward buying new properties. I would assume part of that would be the money he's cash flowing from the rentals which would end up showing no profit on his end at the end of his fiscal year. Or he is renovating the properties causing him to also show no profit. He appears to be a very smart guy, it's most likely for tax purposes that he's showing no profit on his books.
Thanks for sharing your idea on how to become rich through forex trading and other crypto currencies exchange I'm grateful ma'am for all you have done for me.
If i was making and i assume this 245K is net take home not gross .... I would save $75K of it a year and invest $75K of it a year and live off of remaining $95K
Thats cool he puts work in for the weddings.. but I don't have any respect for land lord business men type jacking everyone's rent up so you can make a profit. Residential zoned should not be for a business. Its not Commercial real estate, its residential.
