Not to be rude but it AMAZES me when people make huge financial moves (homes, cars, loans) with people they’re not married or related to.
@1588chrissy
@1588chrissy 2 года назад
Marriage or relations won’t protect you from someone who would do this sort of thing unfortunately. How many marriages break down because a spouse has taken out credit, even some will sign their spouses name. Sadly only way to avoid this sort of thing is to not mix finances with anyone.

Pretty common in the North of the UK to buy a house with a long partner as the renters market is terrible and house prices have gone way up. A lot of solicitors set it up that if you split the bank takes it share, you both get you original deposit and any equity is split 50/50.

I purchased a house with my ex-fiancé. But we had legal paperwork drawn up beforehand, so when we broke up, the lawyers sorted it out. Which was just as well because he tried to do the wrong thing (not entirely his fault, he had a problematic family). But here in Australia, de-facto partners have the same legal rights as married couples. So, we likely would have landed on the same outcome despite the agreement. But I tell everyone to never go into any large financial purchase without thinking through all possibilities, and having a (legal) plan in place.

It’s not simply that loans are just handed out so easily but it really is the fact that college is expensive and then paying off the debt is like jumping through hurdles. College shouldn’t be so expensive anyways. Also, hopefully it’s different now, college shouldn’t be pushed as the only path to success.

God bless you and God bless anyone reading this! Hope you have an awesome day! Seek him while you can! Jesus is the way and the only way and he is returning soon! Whenever you think you aren't loved... Remember the ultimate sacrifice was for love! ENDING YOUR LIFE IS NEVER THE ANSWER! For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV The wages of sin is death (hell) but Jesus paid our debt on the cross, for our salvation! We must turn to God and away from our sinful ways, Confess Jesus is Lord and believe with our hearts that he was risen from the dead by God, and we must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and The Holy Spirit and live by His word and Commandments! Trust that God will help with the rest! Seek God today before it's too late! Today could be your last day on earth!

A couple of things with this because I know people might want to be rude about Leila with her finances, but CNBC messed up her numbers, I would suggest those who want to really see what she has done look at her most recent video since she really has been kicking ass in the finance department. I have worked one on one with Leila and she really has taught me so much about finance management. Also about her students loans she is really attacking the heck out them before they resume back in Aug. Overall, love Leila and her content and if it is not for you that is okay

Life Insurance ( in Canada) is smart to start when you are young! For longer term policies you save a lot of money in the early years. The best policy to start young is a permanent policy where you pay for a period of time ( much cheaper the younger yout are), then have the death benefit for the rest of your life & most have a built in cash surrecder value which you can use for retiremnt income, and even use as collateral for loans!
