Honestly, watching this episode was painful because it felt pretty obvious that she wasn't taking care of herself and that's why she's ordering every meal and just playing on the apps. She looked and sounded broken. Caleb has had quite a few of those recently.

School loans only make money for the lenders. More and vastly stricter restrictions need to be in place. I’m all for schooling, but photography (I did it/been through it) is not about schooling, but experimenting. Would be great if community colleges were funded by the community. Not a big school, but one that can provide to a class of 20 per class, and any extra things, the students got to pay for (like school clothing). School store provides only the necessary books per registrant, provided you live in the community (ID or drivers license). Probably a better way to plan that whole thing out, but I feel it would be better than taking out a soul ripping loan to pay for a community college and pay it off in 20 years.

There are plenty of apps out there that are completely free, she could continue to play games without paying for them 👌

I have a spreadsheet and I don't know lol. I don't break down my expenses into categories. I can tell you how much I spent total though. I track it because I like to keep my spending between a specific range every year, so I just watch it to see if I'm on track. If its slope is too steep I cut back for a couple months. I assume 80% or more of my spending is on eating out and video games. I know one year I looked back over my statements and I spent like 15k that year on in game purchases lol. This year I've ate out a lot less. Like maybe twice a week now only. I'm working on my health and it's hard to avoid seed oils when eating out.

@@17h127 Same. For my credit cards I don't really know how much goes into each category, but I know approximately how much I can spend on my credit cards to pay it off each month. Now, this works for me because I don't have problems with money, but if I did I think I'd need to watch it more closely.

I have one too but couldn't tell you on the spot like this either. I review and compare back to that sheet all the time, but I don't memerize it. Hyperfixating is a double edged sword. Expecting everyone to memerize thier budget is unreasonable.

17:01 unfortunately that is not true Graham which is why therapy is so important. I’ve always worked over 80 hours a week so what happens if you have impulse issues and are not dealing with the true problem is that you binge spend. Kind of like when you strict diet then you binge eat!

I feel like I've met her before when shopping in Temple. I've got to say it is typically cheaper to buy in Central Texas than to rent as long, as you're not in a larger city like Austin and it's bordering cities, even when including matinence.

My mortgage is $923 - local rent for homes in the area are $1400+ for something safe and decent.

@@SpecialK2O have you thought about renting out a room in your house as a way to offset costs? I saw your video and I am rooting for you to get out of debt. I am so sorry about those student loans I turned down a job with the art institute when I realize just how predatory they were

Go with Discover. They have High yield rates go with Discover over Chase. Chase APY is super low. I think like 0.1%. Discover is like 3.4% much higher.
