That lesson was: you can't buy something else for every purchase you make. Having multiple sources of income is prudent, as is living within your means. I have a 13-year-old vehicle because it is all I need, I like it, and I can do whatever I want with it. My net worth is $4 million, and I can pay my bills without stress, but I don't live like I have that. I have no complaints.

Almost always the good well managed companies will come back strong at some point. The other is to get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.

Don't really agree, trading is not investing. Financial advisement is incredibly risk averse. Trading allows for capitalization in up, down, and sideways markets whereas investing via a financial advisors advise is passive, long term, and you're just looking to invest the best companies possible

When you learn your day trading strategy, you have to practice it. Connect to your playback data on your platform, speed up the play to x5 at the least, then execute your entries and exits. Entries have to be precise, but it's even more important to execute the proper trade management. Develop the emotional intelligence you need to possess while in the trade, so when you enter during the practice, slow the price action back down and manage the trade. Don't get out until your system says to get out. Feel what it feels like to be in a trade. Make your body and mind be at peace with what you're doing and don't make emotional decisions. You have to have an objective set of rules for entry and exit. For example, as a simple strategy, let's say you enter long or short on a candle that closes the 8 ema and you exit when a candle closes the 8 ema in the opposite direction. If that was your strategy, then honestly do your best to stay in the trade the whole time price action stays on the proper side of the 8 ema and don't liquidate until the 8 ema is closed to the opposite direction. In conclusion, practice your strategy to develop the mindset you need to be successful.
When it comes to investing , we want our money to grow with the highest rates of return , and the lowest risk possible . While there are no shortcuts to getting rich , but there are smart ways to go about it

Start trading futures (Crypto Perpetual Swaps, E-mini etc.) not stocks or options. Learn to read orderflow/footprint and learn different setups. Risk 2% of account each trade (If you get stopped = 2% loss, not using only 2% for each trade.) Stop loss goes at invalidation not an arbitrary place. No more drawdowns, high probability data driven trades with live orderflow dictating trading decisions. There you have it.

I see the rising interest rate as a very big problem, as more investors will definitely pull out more money from the Stock market. This might have worked when I was still invest-ing with a couple thousand dollars, but it is more difficult now to decide whether to pull out more than $365k from my port-folio. I know some inves-tors still make that despite the strong bear market. In wish I could pull that feat
I think the whole thing about holding stocks for long term will always apply. So I think you should get a quality broker who is able to analyze and pick stocks that will do well in the long term, else you will be in a long bear ride.
