This is a nice pointer. It often happens that the position is not the best for everyone, but people who are not self-consumed will usually either realise they are blocking someone's view, or be sensitive and react positively to that person's attempts to move around them. The way I see it, people I like to dance with use the opportunity of tango to enhance/grow their own social awareness, because that is their value. I will assume that someone who nonchalantly blocks my view with their back is not in that category and instead uses tango to be in the spotlight and boost their ego. Therefore, I make a mental note not to waste my time and interact/dance with them in the future. So goes with people who, when sitting at a milonga (i.e. busy social event), don't keep their feet and elbows near their bodies and instead place them in my face and take 3 times the space of any other dancer. Kinda obvious, but not to everyone.
