Thank you for these videos. My wife and I made two trips to Greece back in the '90s when we were first together, and it made such a huge impression on us. Milos was our favorite, probably. Sarakiniko is simply cosmic, plus a few people we met there were so kind. Thank you for bringing back memories - and reigniting the desire to go again.

I was in Milos 34 years ago, I haven't visited Sarakiniko, I think they hadn't discovered yet, I went to Kleftiko, in that time you could visit only by boat, which was a mistake because the sea was too rough, and the boat so little, so you can imagine what a nightmare was that, so I couldn't enjoy as I should!. I love this video, congrats and enjoy Greece which is my favorite destination!
Yes, Milos was a complete surprise for us. Unfortunately we couldn't go to Kleftiko, there were too many waves, the boats didn't go. Too rough the sea. Sarakiniko was a pleasant alternative.
I’m really enjoying traveling virtually with these videos! My partner and I have visited the Cyclades the past three summers... we’re in danger of becoming those people who always go to the same places, but nothing compares to the total relaxation of the Cyclades! We’re planning our vacation for this August. We’ve already visited Naxos, Paros, Antiparos, and Sifnos and really enjoyed them all... if you had to recommend one more, which would you choose? (I know, impossible choice.) Anyway, thanks again for this virtual getaway!
Thank you for watching. Indeed, it is easy to fall into routine when travelling. We would recommend Folegandros and Milos... but as you said, there are many so different islands there so it is very hard to choose.

Yes, that is indeed a good combination. All Cycladic islands have this possibility, so whatever island you choose, you will be able to do a nice dinner in the village after a relaxing beach day. Thank you for watching.
Wow those images are spectacular! You do a great job in capturing the vibe and beauty of these islands and also providing some useful information. My wife and are thinking of heading to Milos in September, do you have a recommendation for what a good length of time on the Island would be? I'm thinking about 4-5 days should be enough.

Great video guys!! I am about to embark on my first rip to the Cyclades and would love some advice. We have 11 days, we are spending 3 days in Santorini then have another 7-8 up our sleeve. How many days do you feel is needed in Milos and Naxos to relax and get a good feel of what the island has to offer? At the moment im thinking 3 days in milos and 4-5 in naxos, do you feel this is the right amount or too much? Should we be looking at taking out a couple of days and adding it to another smaller more intimate island like Folegandros or Antiparos? I look forward to hearing back from you, love your travel videos! :) Note that only Santorini is booked at this point, Naxos is definitely somewhere we want to see (verified by your love for Naxo). Milos is slightly out of the way in terms of travel between Santorini and Naxos, however if you strongly recommend Milos over other islands then we will definitely make the trip!

We are more kind of slow travellers and we always like to add a few days of "dolce farniente" in our trips, to feel the island and its people so we would always suggest longer stays. Naxos in 4 or 5 days would be our recommendation. Milos needs 3 or 4. Folegandros is wonderful, very different from the rest. You can do that in 3 to 4 days. Antiparos is more a residential island and has a few nice beaches so its not much of an island to visit. To buy a house there, yes! But the rest not much. We liked Milos due to its variety and you should visit there at least once. Hope this helps.

Yes, like all the Greek islands, Milos has so much to offer and you would need many many weeks to discover it all. We hope we can come back soon again. Kleftiko however was not accessible due to rough sea.
The Way We Saw It yes that's true in my opinion Milos maybe is the island with the best beaches at Aegean.i hope you find the opportunity and visit Milos again someday, believe me it deserves it!
We were in Milos in June. We like to travel in the Aegean in May/June and September/October, when there are less hords of tourists. Milos is a great destination.

Great videos. I am Greek and I randomly fell in your videos. Judging by your accents you must be German and Spanish (?). Cyclades are great but don’t miss out some more distant island complexes with different landscape and architecture. Don’t miss the Ionian islands (covered in green and a bit Italian influence in architecture etc) and the Dodecanese (also dry landscape, but different)

You guys make me completely crazy, I'm fed up with your "cykladic" spelling.... My best friend is a Greek, and he wrote me this: "The right way in English is 'cyclades', but it is pronounced like 'kyklades' with a 'k'. It comes from the word kyklos in greek, which means 'circle', because all the islands together make some kind of a circle. So, it's written with 'c', but spelled with 'k'." And as you're on your way in Greece, please spell it in Greek language......
