The MILS standard is an international Lego building standard that allows multiple builders to build their creations separately but still come together and make a cohesive display. This video shows how to make the a Desert MILS Road module.
The original MILS standard was developed by Hispabrick and details can be found Here: www.hispabrickmagazine.com/en/

Nice to see a new video from you! With your early videos you inspired me building a LEGO winter diorama using MILS modules. Thank you!

I enjoy these MILS videos. I wish you could make some videos about what it is like being in a LUG. I don't have any Lego User Groups of any kind close to me. Thanks for the videos!

Good to see you started posting new vids! One question: Why 16 studs wide? I started on a 12 wide western road but your vid made me doubt about the width.

In my case, I was making a main street for a western town which would need to be wide enough for two way wagon traffic. A small wagon is generally 6 studs wide and with two of them on the road plus 1 or 2 studs between them that makes for 14 studs already. If you have a large wagon such as the "Lone Ranger" stage coach, you would need even more space. Also, a 16 stud wide road seems like a good size since I could use a 16x16 dark tan plate to cover it. Ultimately it is up to how you want your build to look and how big your vehicles are. Good question!

@@BackRoomBuilder Thanks! I didn't have enough dark tan for 16 wide so I made a 12 wide road. culair.nl/bastion-fort-legoredo/
