Duffy was 12 when he, his dad and I shared a loft in Freeport, Long Island, NY. I was Chubby's vibes player at the time. We lived together, and so played any hour day or night, and Duffy was a cookin' drummer back then! I'll be 93 April 1st, and miss 'em all!

Jimmy Rowles - fantastic! I remember so many nights of his wonderful sounds at Bradleys. He provides a perfect foil for his more traditional colleagues here - Subtle Tales Of The Unexpected!

Great jazz, few good players left. Lots of new players, some very good. You need experience to play real jazz. This is an amazing combination of great players!
