@riba2233
you have some really nice measuring equipment there :) can't wait to see more from it!
@2down4up
I saw TTC test this and as I recall it was much more accurate with a standard 5.0 battery and accuracy dropped significantly with the forge battery. I may be misremembering that though. Still I thoroughly enjoyed watching you test and adjust it in the same manner that someone like myself would use. Very interesting to see the difference between how you did it and TTC. I would love to see a cheaper and more accurate gen 2, i think it would be an absolute game changer for guys in tire shops or similar positions.

I’ve seen elsewhere this tool does not seem to work correctly when paired with the new Forge batteries, but seems to fall within the correct setting when paired with a standard XC battery
@WhiteVaille
Holy shit, I'm surprised you grabbed one of these. Might be nice to have for maintenance on the tractors, though! Thanks for sharing!!
@alfredbernal8603
Thank you for the review. I'll just stick witj my torque wrenches
@drewt6235
Driving speed rig is brilliant! Assuming there isn’t something like it, huge deal. Name that! It has far reaching potential as I’m sure you well know.
@chuckyz2
I would set it to come in low and finish it off with a well calibrated torque wrench. I wouldn't want to spend all the time training the stupid thing. It should come calibrated. I assume that is so you can train it for your specific torque settings. I have a regular 1400 ft lbs impact by Milwaukee. Don't remember the model number. I think on #2 setting it gets me to 80 tightening. I can use my M12 impact to get 70ish to 80 ft lbs on max setting. I prefer to do that I don't have to worry about ever over torquing. I then just use the Icon torque wrench to snug it down to 100 ft lbs on my lug nuts. I bought the Quinn Torque gauge thing. I calibrated my three torque wrenches with it. I pretty sure that thing is dead nuts accurate as it matched a new torque wrench settings withing specs. I was able to get it even closer. On my Pittsburgh small torque wrench, I tested it new out of the box and hit the number exactly on the first pull. It stayed within a few lbs and hit the number exactly several times. No need to make any adjustments on that dude. I had a very old HF in lbs torque wrench that I haven't used for years. I left that set at the last torque setting I used it for. I didn't know you have to turn them back to zero after use. It just needed a very minimal tweek to get it within 2% every pull.

Would you use it and trust it to do tire changes for home use? If I could loose a step it would be fantastic. I have 3 cars minimum to change tires twice a year. It’s a long day when it’s time to do them.
@timgordon2039
Thank you. Please fix your VOluME LeveL IssueS and retest with different batteries if you haven't yet. Be well!
@michaelhess4825
I just can't believe it's not calibrated from the factory, and have some kind of auto calibration.
@harlanborders943
Cool that you can get it but who can afford it. Impact calibration device you have a war pension invested
@three-phase562
Not sure that this is the right way to go with these types of tools. 30 year old impact wrenches still work today, given a couple of years and several app upgrades, this thing is likely to be non-compatible and no longer useable.
@juanc5149
I don’t think this tool is for us.
@juanc5149
Also if this is for solar industry…. Hopefully it’s utility owned solar panels.
@slingin_tires
Seems too complicated for most people
